I needed something temporary to keep the small dogs in a certain area. They do the job. The only thing that isn’t that good are the poles. They are flimsy and break when trying to hammer them in the ground.

Currently using this as a fenced-in area of the yard for my cats until I get the Catios built. Super easy install, took maybe 30 min. one morning: a roughly 15' section between the back of the house and fence, and another 10' section between the another fence and front of the house. Only tools used were scissors (cut-to-length) and a rubber mallet for the stakes (oh, and gloves). The ground has been soft lately, so I've even formed a "swinging gate" that I tie with twist-ties instead of the zip ties (which can be undone with a very small jewelers screwdriver or thin knife tip) and just keep replanting in the same hole. This way I can move about the entire yard without going through the house. Have since also used it to block off a hole near the patio base to keep a high-nuisance groundhog out. I don't think it likes the way that it feels (see below). Once I get the frames of the Catios built, this stuff will be reused as the outer shells to keep my cats in and most other animals out. Hopefully squirrels and other smaller animals will be smart enough to keep out -which has been the case so far with the fenced-off area. Holes in the fence material are about 1.5" x 3", so probably won't stop young kittens. Full disclosure: my cats are timid and mostly indoor. Any more adventurous/big jumper cats might not be reigned in with this as a simple fence (ends up about 3-1/2 feet high after planting stakes). The feel of the plastic (definitely not an oil-like smoothness; kind of raspy feel to it, even though it's smooth-surfaced) kind of freaks my two cats out, and they've learned not to get close.

Tried to use it to keep dogs out of the pool. It didn't. It installs OK but I just think it's too weak for dogs.

The fencing itself is almost a coated paper rather than a sturdy plastic. The plastic posts are AWFUL. a stiff wind bends them. Plus, there is really no way to attach the fencing to the posts with the zip ties as the ties just slide down. And the posts are not tall enough for the fencing either....about 6-8 inches too short. Most of our posts are already bent/broken. I really feel this was a big waste of my money.

I purchased this temporary fencing to line the perimeter of our corner property home for Halloween. We only did a “stop and look” display v/s walk through display this year. The fencing held up great. I’m just slightly disappointed with the unrolling of the fencing. There were approximately 4 areas with torn fencing. Not too bad, but I wasn’t expecting any torn areas. Plastic coated metal stakes worked Wayyy better than I expected. Setup went well and quick. I put it up all by myself and I’m 60. Just a bit of adjustments after total set up was completed, to insure a tight fence. Crowd understood they couldn’t lean on the fencing. The fencing was up 2-3 days prior to Halloween and was still up a couple of days later during our breakdown process. Overall very pleased with the fencing, not happy about the tears in it but not disappointed enough to delete a star over that. I would recommend this temporary fencing.
