This is actually the second set of locks I bought because the first were going to tear my cabinets up the way it locked. I returned the first set and saw these. A couple of things: 1. Extremely sticky and high quality 2. The “on” and “off” locking feature is a game changer 3. The install - whoever designed these needs a raise. The media could not be loaded. Seemed like good quality but so far four of the latches have broken on us. This one pictured/videos here is about to break. The plastic can only handle being pushed to unlock so many times I guess. I firThe stick for the latches is 3m and is doing a great job sticking, very hard to get off though so it is difficult to replace the broken latches. If the latches didn’t break so easily I would recommend the product for ease of installation and use. But it’s frustrating that four going on five have broken within four months of installing ... show more

When I first looked at these I thought it was pretty confusing but after actually reading the directions made sense. The adhesive film is a little hard to get off, I ended up screwing them in anyways. But they seem to be working great!     • Cheap plastic...snapped twice within a few weeks of light use!

Super easy to install and was quite useful... until it broke... twice... within a few weeks! Was super easy to install and somewhat easy-ish to use (you need to push down on the super narrow latch while opening, which is kind of awkward at first since it is easy to miss it due to small surface area but you get used to it). The problem is after several weeks of use, that little plastic stick snaps off. When it happened, I had two spares to replace it since it comes in a box of 4 and we had only used 2 of them. I grabbed the spare and replaced right away and it was good for... a few more weeks... until it snapped off again. I’ll replace it again with the last spare I have but I know I’ll be ordering something else since I know this will only last a few weeks at most. It is priced cheap and made of cheap plastic too apparently so you get what you pay for. Unless you wanna buy them in bulk and plan on replacing them every couple of weeks, I’d suggest a different brand (although not sure whether others are any better but maybe the bulkier ones will have more strength?). The draw of this one was that you can switch between engaged/disengaged modes simply by rotating the latch when you don’t want to childproof (cat proof in our case) your cabinets. We almost never put it in the unlock mode so that turned out to be a useless feature. Wish I had bought something that had a bit more bulk to it so it doesn’t snap so easily. ... show more

My kitchen has remained in tact for over a month now from my cupboard emptying toddler. These were amazingly easy to install. Highly recommend. Not sure how I'll get them off or how easy they will be to remove but with the lock/unlock feature I might as well leave them be.

The cabinet can be opened enough for baby hands to reach in when “locked” And the cabinet doesn’t close flush now. I don’t understand the design as it has a lip that goes Over the Outside of the cabinet…so how is it supposed to close? I’m incredibly frustrated as this is the second set of locks to not work out during a time that I need them to keep my baby safe. Back to the drawing board! ... show more

These baby proof safety latches are underrated! Very clever simple easy application and biggest important feature for us is the flexibility of turning these latches On or Off! We are grandparents and do babysit couple times or more each week but rest of days would be a hassle and inconvenient to have permanent On latches on our 19 cabinet doors! One tiny point is that the latching arms straight out of the box are quite stiff and did not rotate freely without my using an initial quarter twist using a small pair of pliers (and protective paper napkin).
