  • The inserts are thin paper cardboard not the fiberboard as advertised. Very disappointed
Style: 36 Compartment
In the advertisement, it says "Corrugated fiberboard inserts", but when we received we found they are thin paper cardboards instead. Totally not acceptable. The strength of cardboard is much less than the fiberboard so not sturdy and not durable at all. **** Amazon should delist the product first till the wrong and misleading advertisement is corrected. Otherwise, it tarnishes Amazon's image and hurts customer satisfaction. ... show more

  • Great for the classroom!
Style: 24 Compartment
I'm so surprised by the negative reviews. Yes, it's expensive and made of particle board/cardboard, but I've used mine for two years and have had no issues with it. I have 20+ 8 year olds putting mail in and pulling mail out on a daily basis and it's still as sturdy as day one. My students are fairly rough with it and there's no damage or signs of use at all. I also have to move it every summer and you can't tell. I actually came back to purchase a second one for my classroom, but decided against it only because I'm on a teacher's budget. If it wasn't for my budget, I'd be buying another one. ... show more

  • Junk
Style: 36 Compartment
This thing was junk. Look at pictures. I’d be ashamed to put my name on anything I shipped out in this condition.

  • Cardboard Junk
Style: 36 Compartment
If you are o.k. with thin cardboard inserts, this will work for you. If not, don't purchase it. Described as "Corrugated fiberboard inserts, solid fiberboard back" the inserts are actually cheap cardboard, not even as strong as a typical shipping carton. With these cardboard inserts, the item is grossly overpriced. ... show more

  • WORST PURCHASED I HAVE RECEIVED
Style: 36 Compartment
Cardboard inserts, half of the inserts to not reach to either end so the only part of this unit I can use in the middle where it is braced on both sides. I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing this if you have a business and need a place to store your things. I now have to rebuild the entire inside so i am able to use it for my card stock. most the shelfs bend if you put 20 pieces of 65lb card stock on them. Described as "Corrugated fiberboard inserts, solid fiberboard back" the inserts are actually cheap flimsy cardboard, With these cardboard inserts, the item is grossly overpriced. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED ... show more

  • VERY NICE!!!!
Style: 24 Compartment
I put this together so quickly. I bought this for my Childcare Center (office) for "folder organizer" and its perfect!! The storage unit is made of cardboard, but its nicely done. You don't need to add water to the Pre-Glued Wood Dowel... just put it as it is and slightly tap the hammer over it. If you are planning to put a lot of "heavy paper storage" within the compartments, well this won't do the job. This is only for lite storage/filing... like putting few papers within. Looks very nice and very stylish. The only problem is that the compartments are a little tight with the folders, but perfect with papers alone and I'm still going to give it a a+. GO HEAD AND PURCHASE (purchase new and not used).... YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! ... show more

  • Expensive, yet cheaply made
Style: 24 Compartment
This product is made out of particleboard and cardboard. I don't know how they are able to sell it for $80.00, it probably cost less than $5 to make with these materials. You would expect a product this expensive would have decent quality materials, but it is both expensive and very disappointing. Save yourself some trouble and spend a little more to get good quality. Avoid at all costs. ... show more

  • Almost perfect!
Style: 24 Compartment
I bought this mail organizer for my classroom to sort the kids' work, but it can be used for any office type space. It is very study and well made. I had previously bought a similar item that was made of cardboard, but it lasted barely a year. I know this will last for many years to come. And it's nice looking with it's wood-type appeal. My only negative is that one of the black bars that goes across one of the rows always seems to come off. It doesn't take away from the sturdiness of the organizer, it's just annoying when the kids are trying to collect their papers. But besides that, I am happy with the purchase. It really helps with organizing papers. ... show more
