The porcelain is bright white and doesn't have glazing artifacts. If you look at the underside you can tell this ceramic piece was fairly well done, as nicely fired as good china dinnerware. Not much else to say - it's decorative, it's sturdy, and I found it to be worth the price. I saw this in a magazine. It was used as a small table. I was able to locate this at Amazon for a great price. I received the ceramic garden stool before the date it was due to be received. It was packed very well in a very sturdy box. I opened the stool and was shocked at how beautiful it is. It is larger than I expected and very useful. One arrived in small pieces, and after replacement the two I purchased broke within a month. If they’re never bumped they’re gorgeous. Too fragile for my house! $160 dollars burned.
