This is a great violin for the price. Looks great, feels handmade and high quality, though there are some spots where the craftsmanship is not perfect but that is to be expected at this price point. The sound is surprisingly good, quite warm though the strings it comes with are not great (especially A and E). I’d say the sound is comparable to a $1-2k violin. Aubert bridge, nice details on the pegs and button. I changed out the tail to one without the fine tuners, just personal preference. Bow is fine considering the price, though it lost a few hairs rosining it for the first time. The case is not very nice, and did not come with a cloth, tuner never worked and went into the trash. Otherwise for the price this is a very good violin. I wasn’t expecting much from Amazon but I was quite impressed. ... show more
