You are just asking for a tangled mess if you do. Had been looking for awhile for a layered necklace so I bought this for a wedding. I love it. Very shiny and pretty. It can tangle easily, but that’s expected with all layered necklaces. Comes packaged nicely and could easily be gifted.

This necklace is super cute but it's so dainty and delicate and you will spend so much time trying to UNtangle it. God forbid you just place it hanging or in a jewelry box as you will spend at least 30 minutes with a fine needle trying to unravel it. Even when you wear it, it seems to get tangled as it moves around. It needs a more sturdy chain. I also do not think the entire necklace and the ornaments are sterling silver. ... show more

It makes for an elegant gift. Only issue is the chain is fine and easily tangles. Clasp is a bit hard to fasten due to loops beinv a bit small and fine. Otherwise pretty. Will add more on the actual material and durability.
