Honesty, I bought this kit because all of the others I wanted were out of stock for another month or so. These weren’t my favorite color selections (the green is random with the other two) but my son and I had so much fun with this set. We had a few old white T-shirt’s and I bought two new ones for us and we had such a fun morning. I will add you will NOT get anywhere near 12 shirts. After watching tutorials on YouTube most of them added the color to another bottle and diluting with warm water so we did that also, equal parts water and dye and a squeeze bottle. The spray bottle was hard for his little fingers to use (he just turned 4) so the squeeze bottle (washed out sunny D bottle) worked great. It allowed us to make more shirts because I think we would have only gotten three or four shirts from the spray bottle. I did go over some spots with the spray bottle (pure dye) to make it more vibrant. I’d also recommend reading the directions first :) it seems self explanatory but making the shirt damp first and sealing with heat is a must do! Overall, I’d recommend this kit. Still not my favorite color trio but separately or even in pairs they look very nice. Great to start with if you haven’t dyed before. ... show more

Overall we made them work, but i would most likely not order this tyle of tie dye again. We bought to decorate shirts for a glow party and only the pink and green are true neon that glow. That part is not the deal breaker, but rather the fact that this was supposed to be a fun family project but since they were spray bottle,nkt everyone could do it. My 5 year old is not able.to spray yet and my special needs son doesnt have the strength in his fingers to spray either. Also, since it was spray, it took quite alot if product to cover the shirt and even then there wass till lots of white. It works for our purpose, but we would have liked the full tie dye. The pack only lasted for a 5t shirt, small youth amd barely bad enough left for an adult medium. Next time im going to make sure its the squirt bottle ones you mix woth water as i feel that wohld be much better for us. ... show more

This is very easy for the beginner. I’ve never used tie-dye before but this is definitely worth buying. It works great on cotton. I’ll definitely recommend this brand for anyone looking for a long lasting dye solution even after two washings it’s not fading.
