I ordered this because I got tired of nailing molding on the walls. My son had one of these and it worked okay for him The only things that bother me about it are that it tends to dry-fire after you get down below 10 nails, and there's no obvious OFF safety switch. I really want to make a point about customer service, though. The charger that came with it did not work. Trying to do the right thing I called the Ryobi "customer service" number in the manual. IT'S NOTHING BUT UNINTELLIGENT CHAT BOTS. I found myself in circular handoff, with no chance to talk to anyone. I can only conclude RYOBI CARES NOTHING ABOUT CUSTOMERS. Ship it and collect the money! Getting no help from the manufacturer, and seeing that the shipment actually came from Midwest Tool Company, I reached out to them. THEY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER! I emailed them about my problem. Within a couple days I had a replacement charger, WITH NO HASSLES AND NO INFURIATING CHAT BOTS. MIDWEST TOOL is a trustworthy, class act. ... show more

This is a good nail gun. Unfortunately, we didn’t start using it for about 3 months after we purchased it. The battery won’t charge. We know it’s not the charger because we bought an extra battery and it charges fine. . So be sure to check that it works when you get it, so you can return if it doesn’t work. ... show more

This nailer is awesome. Initially, the hammer was sticking in down position. A little lithium grease took care of the problem and been working like a champ. Update. I used a little and all was well. I put it away and decided to use again but before I did I attempted to recharge the battery but get error and wont recharge. Will contact seller and post update. ... show more
