  • Order these- no regrets!
Size: 9.5 Color: Black
These are so good! I have flat feet and lots of foot pain. These allowed me to walk in a lazy river for an hour with no pain. They have good arch support and wear well. They are actually cute and did not cause blisters at all. I also have narrow feet and the ability to cinch down the laces was great for me too! ... show more

  • Amazing support and fit!
Size: 7 Color: Medium Blue
Run don’t walk to buy these shoes! I originally bought some cheaper pair of shoes off Amazon got them home didn’t like them because they just rubbed in all the wrong spots. I’ve purchased this brand of shoe before in a different style, but I’ve never purchased water shoes like this. I wore these for a week in Costa Rica in town, in the cloud forest, walking in mud, walking in rain, walking on slick concrete and these shoes are absolutely the best! I had zero slipping, they did not rub, they had amazing traction and very good support. These are not water shoes that you think of not having support. They are actually like a running shoe. ... show more

  • Pretty decent for water aerobics...too buoyant though
The shoes were wet when I took the picture. I do water aerobics/HIIT, aqua zumba, and stretching/stability 5 days a week and I'm typically in the pool for 1-2 hours each day. Someone in class recommended Ryka because they had their shoes for a couple of years and they were still in good shape; she typically does deep water classes. I do shallow water classes so I put a decently significant side load on my shoes as well as dragging the toe on the floor of the pool when I stretch so I tend to go through shoes pretty quickly. I had a cheaper pair that lasted me about 6 months but the shoes had really only lasted about a week before I noticed damage. I have been using this Ryka pair for about 6 weeks and I do like them; they are supportive and the craftsmanship seems pretty good. I really like that it has normal laces and a cinch tab instead of the bungee laces because they bungee doesn't last long in the chlorine (I also tend to snap it on my fingers trying to get them tight enough after they start to loosen) the normal laces don't stretch so they stay put throughout class. The one thing I don't like about them is that they are very buoyant. I don't like the assist, especially when trying to work on core exercises. I can tell throughout class that my feet feel "lighter" so I would prefer if they didn't float so well but the training shoe design of the sole is helpful for my knees. The fabric (not the support) in the heel felt looser after the first week but it hasn't changed since. The pool I swim in is way over chlorinated (it eats my suits in about 75 hrs in the pool and bleached made my hair so badly that where I wore a bobby pin my hair broke (not my entire head just the bottom baby hairs that get wet in class but getting my hair wet with two water first, and not wearing a bobby pin, has helped with bleaching)) so the fact it's not disintegrated by now is good. The one thing I'm confused with is those little plastic pieces o took a picture of. My right shoe, since the first time I wore it, keeps getting these little white plastic pieces in it. I have looked in these shoes and removed any plastic piece I see but I've done this three or four times and I keep getting them. My left shoe is fine. I can't figure out anything in the shoe or pool that would generate brittle plastic pieces but they are not comfortable to step on (they come up through the holes in the insert). Yesterday I made sure no plastic pieces were in my shoes but today after class I removed all of those pieces from my shoe. Just curious if anyone else has had that experience. TL;DR I would recommend them but they are a bit overpriced in my opinion. I wish they were $50-55 but I had to get a half size so they were $70. At that price Merrell isn't much more expensive (I haven't tried their water shoe yet but I probably will for my next pair) ... show more

  • Comfortable and supportive for all aquatic adventures!
Size: 9 Color: Black
I bought these water shoes for a cruise this summer, to wear on various excursions including a beach day, a local walking tour, and an island tour by Jeep. I wore fast-drying socks with the shoes and had no problems the entire trip. They were comfortable and supportive on the beach with no sand sifting in (that I noticed). They dried quickly, but even still wet they were comfortable to walk in, on sand, rocks, and pavement. They exceeded every expectation and I will keep them as long as possible for future adventures. ... show more

  • Best water shoes for water aerobics
Size: 8.5 Color: Black
Accurate sizing - I wear Ryka walking shoes in size 8.5 & bought same size in water shoes. I could've gone with a size 8 as well but these are fine. Great traction on pool deck + into locker room. Very very happy with purchase!

  • Supportive, comfortable and easy to wear!
Size: 8 Color: Medium Blue
I cannot say enough good things about these shoes!!! 100% worth the expense! I got them for Marine Science camp(teacher) and we are paddle boarding salt marshes one day and kayaking the next in an estuary! They absolutely have held up beautifully to 3 weeks of camp! Very supportive and keep my feet from aching! I do wear socks with them for our short hike then remove the socks for water activity. Highly recommend them for someone who needs support or just an all around comfortable shoe for water activities!!! Clean up very well from the mud with a quick hose off and removable insoles! Will absolutely buy another pair when I need to replace. ... show more

  • Excellent for water aerobics
Size: 7.5 Color: Black
A friend of mine recommended these to me for water aerobics. When I saw her with them, I was a little skeptical because they looked like they would be heavy after getting them wet. However, the design of this shoe is remarkable. I have been using the regular (cheaper) water walking shoes and they give no support and only last a few months with 5 days of aerobics each week. I feel like I'm walking on a cloud in the pool with these. My ankles and arches have so much more support and I haven't had any issues with my plantar fasciitis since I've been wearing them. The dry time is about the same as it is with other water shoes I've tried, typically overnight. I really like the new design of the laces. They have a spring clamp to adjust them on your foot and I still have enough slack to tie the laces. The ones my friend has, the laces are too long and it is a bit of an inconvenience for her. It sounds like there were some complaints and this issue has been addressed. I'm a size 7.5 in most shoes and these are a perfect fit at 7.5. I know the price is bit more expensive than the other ones I have tried but if I'm having to replace those every 2-3 months and can get at least 6 months out of these, it will be worth the difference. My friend says she's had hers for more than 2 years so I think this is the better purchase, overall. I think a good review should include likes and dislikes, however, at this time, I haven't found any dislikes. If that changes, I will update this review. ... show more
