  • Great sneakers
Size: 8 Color: Black
I really like these sneakers a lot, and this is my 4th pair of Ryka sneakers. I love the color of the stripes and details, and how the color shifts from blue to purple in the light. Pros: They wear comfortably all day and have great arch support. I have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes help keep it from getting inflamed, even after prolonged walking or standing. They are well made, and even after wearing them daily for the last few months, they still look practically new, and the colors have not faded at all. Cons: This style of shoe is that it is not waterproof at all, and the shoe will fill with water if you step in a puddle on a rainy day. They did dry out rather quickly, though! This shoe also runs slightly short. I normally wear a 7 1/2 but go to a size 8 in Ryka to keep my toes from hitting the inside front end of the shoe. Overall, I will continue to purchase Ryka sneakers, as the value is great, and the quality is excellent. ... show more

  • I've been wearing this for a week
Size: 7.5 Wide Color: Navy Blazer
This brand is completely new to me. I usually buy Easy Spirit, but I clicked on a link while searching a list of "most comfortable wide walking shoes." Ryka shoes were reasonably priced, and pretty, so I decided to take a chance. The first time I put them on, I could immediately feel the plushness of the shoe and the arch support. I don't have super-wide feet, but I am most comfortable with a wide shoe. These have plenty of room. They are prettier than I expected. Mine are electric blue and black. I've walked in them, and there has been no pinching, sliding, or other discomforts. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend these shoes to women looking for something pretty, but easy on the feet. ... show more

  • Order 1/2 Size UP
Tried 3 styles of Mizuno's and other brands. These Rykas felt and fit the best - that is, AFTER I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear in sneakers. In my regular size 6.5, my toes got squished up front and the entire shoe felt tight. The size 7 is comfortable, except for one Big issue. Although fine for just short walks from here to there, exercise was painful. I fast-walk on a treadmill at least 3.5 miles every other day, and the first time I wore these sneakers I developed a pain in the bottom of my left foot that did not go away for 2 days. I realized that while the 1/2 size larger shoe fit, the arch support was no longer situated in the correct place for my feet. I swapped out the insoles for ones I found for work/sports in a drug store. Now my arches are happy again, and there’s no more pain. If the sizing had been accurate, it would have been 5 stars. UPDATE 6-7-23: As I have gotten more fit, I now exercising more. I walk ~6 miles 3-4 a week at a top speed of 3.9mph on my treadmill. Last week I noticed that the soles of these sneakers are beginning to wear through in the same spot of both shoes. I’ve never done this much walking/cardio in my life, but I guess I should have expected the wear and tear. I wanted to buy another pair before these wear out completely. I wanted another pair of the Devo Plus 2 in the same color (or another I like) but Ryka's stopped making this style. I ended up buying the Devotion Plus 3. They are visually very similar with some changes, and there are upgrades to the design (the tongue stabilizer is in a better place, etc.), but they are Still 1/2 size Too Small. At least the company is consistent - I expect them to be just as comfortable too. ... show more

  • Great after ankle surgery!
Size: 8 Wide Color: Black Raspberry
Got these when I was 6 months post op from a broken ankle. Had to go back to physical therapy for a 3rd round and was told to invest in better shoes. I got a pair of these and also a different brand, to compare. These are amazingly comfortable, even with my fallen arch! They provide just enough support in the arch that they don't cause pain, and also reduced the pain I was already having from lack of arch support. They sit low enough on the sides that my hardware doesn't rub (which is now the number one thing I look for in a shoe). My only complaint is that I wish the bottom was a tiny but more rigid, and provided a bit more of a rocker motion to help propel your step forward. Not a deal breaker for me as I'm supposed to be forcing my range of motion anyway. All around, great shoe. I normally wear an 8 and I ordered an 8W to account for swelling. They fit great on both feet! ... show more

  • Beautiful shoes and fit
Size: 8.5 Color: Black Rose
I tried on a pair of Ryka shoes, similar style, to be sure of what size to buy. The shoes are true to fit, extremely comfortable and the arch support is not over the top and feels great. I am super happy with my purchase.

  • Not bad but not great either
Size: 10 Wide Color: Black/Purple/Blue
I stand on concrete floors all day. Additionally I have knee pain. I was looking for a shoe that would fit my needs. Initially I thought I found nirvana of shoes. But alas, it was short lived. The insoles were super comfy for about 3 weeks. After that it felt like I was walking on bricks. I replaced the insoles to something longer lasting. I ordered Wide width based on the reviews. The toe box was too wide for me. It seems to have stretched out a bit so I wear thicker socks with these. But I still get that "slapping" noise when I walk. The outer sole is holding up really well. The tongue does not slide around. I really like that there is a low rise from heel to toe. My knee doesn't hurt as bad when wearing these. Honestly, I don't know if I will buy another pair but I am considering it. ... show more

  • Great shoe for hard-to-fit feet!
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Grey Aqua
I LOVE everything about these shoes! They fit better & are more comfortable than any shoe I’ve ever had. I have wide feet & a bunion on each little toe, so it’s difficult to get a pair that feels & looks good! Will be 80 in 3 days & do not have the best balance; these shoes support my walking safely! ... show more

  • Decent shoe
Size: 10.5 Color: Black Pastel Multi
These are very comfortable shoes to walk in. I add an arch support to every tennis shoe I buy, and that was the case with this, but they were already well padded for comfort. The sides feel a little short such that I don't feel as much support for my ankle, which I injured years ago. The biggest disappointment was when the upper fabric tore at the string hole several months after I bought them. It was too late to return them by then and they are super comfortable (which is why I gave a 4 star review). I did my best to sew the string support back in place, but that was really disappointing, and I feel I don't want to buy shoes with fabric uppers again. ... show more
