  • Very fun read for all ages
Very well written. I had my 11 year old read it through the eyes of a 5 year old and his description did not disappoint. Says that the read was good for adults and children. The tricky words can be described easily from an adult. It also would be a great book for a reader catching up, like a 7 year old who struggles but also needs interesting things to strike their interest! He says, he would even read it now to pass time or to his younger cousin! ... show more

  • What A Wonderful Story
As a gardener and houseplant parent, this story warms my heart. As a human being, this story gives me hope that differences won't inspire fear, but growth and ultimately love.

  • good illustrations
The illustrations were very nice, and I especially appreciated the real plants and garden behind the story. The story itself was pretty predictable, however, and the characters' motivations weren't explained. It's really not impossible to make the characters, even the antagonists, believable, even in a children's story. ... show more
