    • Does not come with O-rings
Note for planning purposes you need to get O-rings for the high pressure and low pressure lines. You can use the old ones, but it is not recommend. I will update this review when I install the compressor

    • Works, but old bearing
The compressor was painted over the old paint. The bearing is making a slight sound. Took the clutch off to inspect the bearing, and it was still the original one(made in Japan), was not replaced as part of reman. Would have been much happier if the bearing was new. At least now the AC is working and blowing cold. ... show more

    • Worked great for two years.
I ordered this December 2020 for my 2016 Subaru xv it came in quick and it worked great until it finally gave out December 2022. I just wish it would have lasted more than two years but I guess this can be expected from a refurbished unit.

    • Hi Port Was Damaged
Hi Port Was, Damaged, When Installing I noticed that the Fitting would not fit Hi port, It was a rebuilt core so my guess that it was dropped. Reman looked great. After sanding the hose fitting very carefully , I got it down to a very snug fit. It was slightly egg shaped from impact Replaced the o ring ( Green) and pulled a vacuum. It held. Checked it again with Sniffer after Charging ,no leak. Time Will Tell. My Problem it keep cutting the o ring and when charged, a leak was found. By fixing the fit problem , the Oring sealed. I'm a tech, 31 years. A little quality control on the ports inspection when there was a visual sign of impact would have been nice. The down side there was a little extra time to install. and charge & evac twice. On the up Side Compressor was Quite. ... show more

    • HUGE Savings and quality product. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
It works great, HUGE savings. I paid like $150 or $160 for this thing and its basically like new. You try to buy one of these at a parts house and you'll spend easily $500-600 for a REFURBISHED product. A NEW one will cost you $800-$1200. And then you have to buy the oil! Trust me, I checked 3 or 4 different places. It's absolutely insane how these "DIY friendly" institutions are ramrodding your wallet. Like I said I bought this thing for like $160; it came pre-oiled, the high/low ports were sealed up nicely, and it was packaged with care. I wish I could give this guy 10 stars. ... show more

    • Save your time and money
This is the second one I have bought, the first one lasted me almost a year, the second one, not even a week. I replaced the O rings with factory O rings and it is still continuing to leak from the ports. This $190 product is not worth the time, money, or energy trying to fix your AC on a budget.
