My ac compressor went out a few months ago so I bought this new one and never got around to installing it. This morning my truck was making an awful grinding noise and started smelling hot so I went back home and found out my tentioner pulley was messed up and one of the idlers. After dealing with the incompetent people at the parts stores from 8:00-2:00 trying to get the parts to fix my truck I get back to find the ac compressor was what the main problem was the pulley had actually sheared off and wasn’t moving as it should. No problem I drove to the shop grabbed my new compressor and a few more sockets drove back home slapped that bad boy in there only to find the pulley is too small for my belt. I was guaranteed that this thing would fit my truck and it did but guess what the pulley isn’t the right size for my belt so it doesn’t work. I get so sick and tired of trying to buy parts and they’re different/don’t work when they’re supposed to be guaranteed to. I will never ever buy another R&Y product again. ... show more

What a Great Value !! I Ended up Having to replacey A/C Conpressor for my 1999 V6 Mustang. I was quoted $200+ for a new A/C compressor decided to order from R&Y compressors because of the value ! And I’m definitely happy that I did. My car is running smooth no more loud Rattling nosies.

Super easy to install... pulled vacuum and added Freon ice cold and would highly recommend this compressor and y’all saved me around $200
