    • Item didn't work at all, was defective.
The price was right, it arrived quickly, and a perfect fit, (it didn't come with mounting studs for the two AC lines, not a big issue as I was able to use the ones from the old compressor) however once installed, and the system evacuated and checked for leaks (none found) the compressor clutch never activated when adding the R134A refrigerant. Checked for 12 volts at the clutch plug and it was present but the clutch never turned on. Removed the new compressor and reinstalled my old one and the clutch activated as soon as refrigerant was added. Receiving defective, out of the box, parts can happen and has been a rare occurrence for me. However in this instance it cost me $75 in lost refrigerant wgich I will not recover.     • Poor quality
I purchased this item in late 2019. I kept in the box in climate control area and I wasn't able to install it until a week ago August 13, 2021. I had the mechanic drain the refrigerant a year ago in anticipation of installing the compressor. I started having other problems with unrelate throttle position senors and mass air flow sensors and when I was unable to fix those problems I took it to my mechanic to fix those problems and asked once those were done to please charge the ac system now that my new compressor was installed he phone back a couple of hours later claiming the coil on the new compressure was bad! So now I have to it back out and rebuild the coil. Waste of time, money, and sweat. I would look for American made or OME before buying this one! Two thumbs down! ... show more
