This is great. I detest having to rotate my iMac 27" to reach the USB ports. I also don't like having unwieldy usb hubs laying around.I do use external speakers for my iMac. I did switch over to the internal speakers after installing the USB hub and can not tell any problems there... but again my norm are the external speakers (as well as air play). I've added a few photos so that you can see how it works. The replacement device arrived from Sabrent in record time. The new device works perfectly. The CF and SD cards are functional on this one along with the USB 3.0 ports. Great price, great construction and functionality. Space and port saver. Support was above expected. Very nice little hub for my iMac. I've plugged about 10 different drives into it including USB and SD and it read every one. Looks good too. Seemed to get decent speeds writing to and from my mac to the different storage devices. Very happy so far with this purchase. Update: I tried to use a CompactFlash card in this hub and it was not recognized by my iMac. I'm not sure if the problem is my computer or the flash card. I searched the internet for a solution but didn't find one. Still happy with the hub overall though. ... show more

This card reader is one of them. It has Three slots that support SDXC (up to 2TB), SDHC, SD, Micro SDXC, Micro SDHC, Micro SD cards. It is excellent for old laptop generation that doesn’t support USB 3. The speed is not bad but obviously better than USB 2. It’s so convenient for Mac, which doesn’t have enough ports. The cord length is adequate for connecting to the iMacPro and the unit has a heavy solid feel. The non skid material on the bottom keeps the unit in place when I need to use it.     • Defective or spyware causing issues
Had to return item due to 6in1 card reader causing dell computer to freeze and delay when typing. There is also a short in the Left USB that causes charging devices to connect and disconnect continuously. I reordered the same item and I was truly disappointed cause it caused the same problems. There must be some kind of spyware in the device that is causing these issues. Not happy knowing my computer was connected to this reader. Would like get a refund, but my return window closed. Don’t buy this item. Buy a known brand. Thank you. ... show more

Very stylish product in my opinion, was packaged properly and orderly. Compact and sleek making storage easy. Product can with no scratches, dents, or faulty hardware +++ I was quite impressed with the speed of USB 3.0 ports. I was copying files from my labtop; witch isn't the speediest, to my External HDD, which was plugged into p ne of the products. The speed at which it was able to read and write from product did not differ from being directly plugged in to my labtop. My only qualms issue is that there were/are no options for various colors. My labtop is black, my External HFD is black, this product is white. Minor, being so, this still didn't stop me from buying it . This has made my life so much easier. I have an iMac and everything is on the back. I got sick of having to reach around to connect a USB or SD card and so this has just been AWESOME!! It works really well and is easy to get to. It's pretty simple, just plug it into a USB (preferably 3.0 USB) Slot and boom it starts working. Hope this helps ... show more
