These curtains block out all the light. The color has not faded. They look amazing. They wash gray color does not fade when washing. It's a great value for the money fabric is thick and lightweight.

Definitely not sound reducing at all, but the thermal insulating is true, and the material is thick but soft. I think the blackout is good, but I use for an internal archway. The color is a nice light black
