Bought these for my large kitchen window. The measurements I needed were perfect! I do have a window shade up but I wanted something on a tension rod to make it darker on days when you're not feeling the "light". That window gets the sunsets and it can be overwhelming. Well this plan worked out perfectly. It was like the curtain was made for this window. The material is thick, has a sheen to it. Nicely sown seems. Beautiful color! They're not 100% blackout, but they definitely block a ton of light! I'm satisfied. I ordered gray also for a backup incase I need to wash these and change them out. Oh and btw--they washed up great on gentle cycle, cold and I dried them in the dryer on gentile. Trust me, these are nice for the price!! ... show more

I live close to a fairly busy street: frequent vehicles and VERY frequent emergency vehicles, and worst of all are the headlights beaming in from all directions from neighbor's vehicles. I really was at my breaking point of seeing all this invasive, distracting, bright activity. Wasn't expecting too much from these curtains but wow THEY WORK AS ADVERTISED! They have really impressed me. I like the material waaaay more than I thought I would, it's thick but not rigid. The white color is nice and bright. The rod pocket is wide and wonderfully constructed. Very durable curtains. And of course, it's very light-blocking. ⭐🐕 An added bonus with their thickness is if I need my very protective, reactive rescue dog to be chill (like during a Zoom meeting or important work phone calls!), I can shut these and she can't see the street that she loves to guard. This is great as she really needs to mellow sometimes and all the viewable people/dogs/animals and UPS trucks can be a little overwhelming for her. So I really appreciate that. I have no complaints aside from I wish a size juust a bit wider (but same length) was available but that is a minor thing that I can absolutely get over immediately. Also they arrived super wrinkled but I'm sure I can make those disappear, it's not a big deal. Photos for review taken on a very bright morning. Natural light coming in is very soft, artificial light & headlights still do not show through! 👍👍 These curtains have brought some added sanity and calmness in to my life and what more could anyone ask for? ... show more

The are not "blackout" level curtains, but they do block out a lot of the sunlight. Not the creamy yellow shown in the picture, more of a light Dijon mustard color, but I don't mind it. A single layer of fabric, decent thickness, and serve their purpose. Good enough for me!

I like the color these came in. it matches my room well. I put them in my living room to keep the sun from shining on my TV when I watch it during the day and I've had no issues with glare since installing them. The fabric is very dense but soft and pliable. These performed as expected.

I bought my first pair of these curtains a few years back because they fit my odd sized window in the back of my kitchen. Since then, I have replaced the curtains on other windows around my home with this brand. And plan to get these for two more rooms once I decide on the color. They are plain, but I am okay with that. They block light and keep the room warmer/cooler as advertised. Best part for me is that they are machine washable and come out wrinkle free and hang the same as they had before. They seem to be durable, as I have had the first ones hanging for a few years and they still look like new. No fading from the sun or damage from washing them. ... show more

These are not pure blackout curtains, and the posting is fair about that, given the light color, how could they be without additional backing. Even so, they work great for sleeping in or a daytime nap. They slide easily on our curtain rod, and the fabric is a decent quality, especially considering the price. Perfect color, perfect length. They are truly blackout at night, during the day they’re pretty dark but light does get through- the darker the color you get the less would probably come through. Only thing I don’t love is you can’t go on either side of the bracket that holds up the curtain rod.

I got the aqua. They might block 50% of light but no way do they block 85% like the description says. The aqua color is very nice. They are nice and thick and true to measurements. I am very disappointed that they aren’t blackout.
