The first one (not this model, bought at big box store) had a broken strap within the first month of school. This one has been used for under 2 months and the inside of the backpack is crumbling. Do not recommend this product at all!!!

I was worried this was going to be very cheaply made and that’s not the case at all! My daughter absolutely loves this backpack and all the accessories! The lunch box is a little on the smaller side but works great for after school snacks! The backpack itself is wonderful with plenty of room. The zipper seems to get stuck a bit but not so much we can’t jiggle it through. The water bottle is a great addition, especially since the school’s water fountains and unavailable due to Covid. The pencil pouch we ended up using to organize hand sanitizer, tissues, a few index cards and a couple pencils that can stay in the backpack at all times. And the additional pull sack has been great for my 3 year old to put his “school supplies” in whenever we hop in the car to go to or from school.

It’s super cute. My kid loves it. It seems pretty sturdy. The only issue I had was that I needed to message the seller 2 weeks after I purchased it to inquire about the shipping, at which point it actually shipped. The seller did tell me it was a because the packages hadn’t been picked up. Not really sure. It was a bday gift so unfortunately it arrived after the fact. She still loves the backpack.

This backpack is the same as like the picture. Very bright in color, and my son is so happy about it. Doesn’t seem so durable, but he is so happy to have it. Boys shove everything in their backpacks, so it may not last as long as a girl having a backpack that is similar. I would buy again, if he wanted another.

I gave this to my 4 year grandson. I checked all the other Ryan backpacks and this one seemed to get the best reviews overall. I was cautious at first because I was afraid the quality of the backpack itself would be compromised because it included so many extra items but that doesn't seem to be the case. My grandson was thrilled with it.
