    • Defected product
The compressor was defected and had metal debris inside! After replacing this compressor in my vehicle, when the freon was refilled, it caused a blow and all the metal debris from the compressor entered the freon line. Now I have to replace everything (including the compressor and the freon line) causing me at least $1000 of repair. I will not recommend this product to anyone. ... show more

    • Double check to make sure it’s the correct one!
This is the third one I’ve purchased. The first two didn’t fit. Even though it stated it was a exact match for my car. I will suggest pulling out the old one and compare it with a picture of the new one. But I will say the first two I had no problem with returning them. Aside from that it was easy to install. Got the compressor fast, everything was perfect. Installed the compressor, and it's still running on my eclipse. Everyone else wanted $100's more. This is exactly what I needed and wanted. Thank you.

    • Such a waste of time.
We ordered this part because, after inputting all of our vehicle's vital statistics into Amazon Garage, Amazon's Garage told us this part was a match to our vehicle. So we waited nearly a week for it to arrive. Then waiting even longer because the weather decided it wasn't going to cooperate either. When my guy was finally back under the hood, he realized that the bolt holes didn't match up to the corresponding holes on the engine block and that the pulley didn't have the correct number of grooves to match the belts. After looking through many more a/c compressors listed on Amazon, we found the correct one. However, it says it doesn't match our car. Plus, we would have to wait another week for it to be delivered. Since that wasn't an option, we chose to just not install the compressor, get a different sized belt and now the car runs so smooth and quiet that it doesn't even seem like it's running. So, this part is now on it's way back to the store it came from and we aren't going to have an air conditioner in our car this summer. At least it's a convertible.... I am just terribly disappointed about it all. ... show more
