If you have never done this before you will want to watch a few YouTube videos. Tinting can be easy but the major tips are use lots of spray and keep everything wet until it's set. The other thing is have a VERY sharp knife ready to help. I had my windows tinted and an eyebrow done at a shop when I got the truck but a new windshield meant I lost it. Rather than pay to do it again I thought I would do it myself. I have tinted home windows successfully and figured things out there. I had a leftover tinted application kit that had a small squeegee a firm piece of plastic fornthe edges and some film spray and I was able to install this in about 10min. The hardest part was figuring out which side the film was on. The only issue I had is due to the dots on the edge of the windshield it appears there is some air around the edge. I never noticed this on the old windshield but I only see it from the outside and never compared to what the tint shop did. Since I need the two piece installation I was able to do this myself.

Absolutely terrible tint film. Single ply, maybe .5mil; would call this a coated film? Rather than a run-of-the-mill carbon or dyed film. Will install just fine if you’re a very good tinter but this film will mark up very quickly with scratches and clear spots. Don’t waste your time. Arrives fast and will look good until a better film can arrive, however. Don’t waste your time. Get a better tint film.

Cleaned window really well, And applied as instructed and over night it came off. Tried to rewet and reapply but no luck. Possible it was because of the cool weather?

Overall I think this is decent tint. The main reason for 3 stars is the clarity is not that good. Does not look bad at daytime, but when you see lights through it at night they look a little blurred and have a halo around it. The other minor part that made it a 3 is it was a little too long. I will be replacing mine, because I was impatient and didn't want to wait to put it on. Needed the right tools and a day when it was not so windy. Would have been OK, but there was a bubble and I didn't apply more solution before trying to get it out and also used the edge tool instead of the squeegee and it tore. A higher quality tint may not have torn, but that is not the reason for the 3 stars. Still looked great from the outside, but It is starting to peel there now. The tint quality had little to do with that. I will be trying a different brand and trim it myself. It had been almost 30 years since I tinted windows, so a lot of what I had known came rushing back as I made the amateur mistakes with this tint. The other windows came tinted from the dealer and the difference in clarity is big.

The installation kit works, but the vinyl itself is garbage. Not even labeled which side is the backing side. You have to figure it out by starting to pull it. Super thin and super creased out of the package when I opened it. They don’t accept returns. Live and learn. But I will let everybody know don’t do it. I’m out $60 because I bought the tint and the application kit.

The pictures of the kit show pre-cut pieces ready to install. The kit I received contined three full width strips of three different heights and did not resemble the product pictures at all. They were not pre-cut for the contours of the windshield and there are several contours on a F150 windshield. You would need experience to install this tint correctly.
