I ordered 2 other synthetic hair pieces before ordering this. This piece is made from real hair, so I understood the added cost comparatively. I read the reviews and actually contemplated the purchase for a couple weeks. However, after looking at the pictures and reading the reviews I decided it would be a worthwhile investment considering I have to wear my hair up most of the time. Unfortunately though, once I received my purchase, it cost as much as the 2 synthetic pieces I had already received and been using for weeks happily. I discovered this was no where near what I thought I was getting. The picture must be mostly the model's actual hair with the purchased hair piece being little more then a medium size clip adding a very small amount of volume. If you have any hair volume or length, this will do very little for you. The model picture is very misleading. I paid too much to not use this piece at all, but considering I'm a prime member who orders regularly, I sincerely hope they reach out to me and offer some sort of compensation. I hope this helps both the customers and the retailers

This I found to be just fine as far as shiny human hair but I wanted something that just offered cascading curls from a topknot messy bun look to offer some dimension to the back of my head and not have everything just at the back crown area but the clip on this was so deep that it stood off the back of my head too much and made my head "back heavy." It overpowered the messy bun's size and was just too much. Also, the contrast between blonde and brown was not as striking as my human hair messy bun but I could have tolerated that if it had made my "up-do" shape more to what I had in mind - that of curls ESCAPING my messy bun. But I do understand the challenge making it in that there has to be enough hair and curls to camouflage the clip. And maybe the brown with golden blonde would have been more to my liking than the brown with blonde highlights although their images shows what I got looked the most striking between brown and blonde. If the clip had not been black they wouldn't have had to be so generous and voluminous with the hair. Just sharing my personal preference of what I think looks best on me. Rather than trying to work with it and get it to something I liked, I chose to return it and maybe have learned my lesson and pay closer attention if I decide to try something else.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have a scrunchie hair piece that I’ve worn out and thought maybe I’d like a clip on one. I will say it holds great. The color is spot on. Of course you have to fluff it out when you open it, but that’s all hair pieces. Very easy to put on. Just clip and go. Very happy with this purchase.
