When doing our kitchen remodel, I wanted to get a sink large enough to wash the big pots we all use when having the whole family over for holidays. This sink is IT and I love it! It's deep; it's wide and it can fit anything from large pots to griddles. I can wash any big item when necessary but when it's just the two of us, it's a great sink to leave the few things that can't go in the dishwasher drying on the bottom rack. A drying rack that fits in the top ledge was included workstation items, as well as cutting board, and colander; all are also wonderful (though the colander could use a few more holes to drain properly). With the cutting board set in the ledges at the top of the sink, I can dispose of seeds and cores by simply pushing them off into the garbage disposal. Not only do I get extra counter space this way, it also keeps juices from getting all over my new soapstone counters. The only complaint about the cutting board is that it's so beautiful, it was hard to use at first since I didn't want to put any cuts in it. But convenience won out and I use it all the time; a little mineral oil keeps the finish looking great. Another note: when using the cutting board, take care regarding knife placement and counter edges (soft stone like soapstone is easy to nick). The stainless steel is beautiful (though with our hard water, needs to be wiped down so it doesn't spot) and so very easy to maintain. A little BonAmi or Barkeepers Friend does the trick. The rinse guard rack at the bottom adds security knowing I won't mar the beauty of the bottom and the slanted design of the bottom helps me get all the little bits of this and that down the drain with not problem. The thick soundproofing covering the underside of the sink keeps away all that nasty noise you get using cheaper stainless sinks. I haven't had any problems at all with this purchase so I haven't needed to contact Ruvati but I could tell that they are a classy company; they packed the sink in a box with tons of padding and then put the sink in a large cloth bag to keep it looking great until we put it in. Now the bag makes a great laundry bag (large with a drawstring closure). I have already recommended this sink to friends and family members and highly recommend it for anyone who wants a beautiful and functional work station in their kitchen. ... show more

I have had this sink installed for about 2 months. So far, we really like the sink. I like the16 gauge stainless steel for durability and lower sound. The finish is very nice and easy to keep clean. The workstation accessories are super high quality that look nice. The only area that I will have to watch is the top workstation corners have a very small rust line at the corner weld. I love the sink, it looks so elegant and is very practical. I didn’t give 5 star since the wooden part of the handles got discolored within the first week or so . I wonder if i can get a replacement for it.

Great sink but very deep. Make sure your plumbing in the wall is low enough to attach the drain. The only way it fit in our place was to get rid of the garbage disposal and buy a shallow basket. Still barely fit.

Beautiful sink. But like others have mentioned, rust formed in the corners. I heeded what other reviewers said and put the sink in the shower, turned on the water for a couple of minutes to fill the basin and let it sit for a couple of days. Sure enough, rust developed in the upper corners. I had one of their sinks for a couple of years (one size down) without any problems. Don't understand why this is happening repeatedly to the larger model. Whatever you do, do not install the sink until you test it! ... show more

When the countertop supplier said the new sink I bought elsewhere could not be undermounted, I started looking for a suitable replacement. The "big-brands" turned up nothing inspiring so I started looking at less-recognized brands. Luckily, I found this one. First important point is the construction material; it's 16-gauge stainless steel. For those who may not know, the competing 18-gauge sinks are made with a thinner material. Thinner material means more noise transmission, and greater chance of denting or damage. The difference is stark once you have both in your hands. Next, the included accessories are amazing! The cutting board, colander, sink grate and drying rack all look like the best of what you could buy separately. No shortcuts here. Even the drain and cover are beautiful. Plus, the sink comes in a fabric bag that adds to the premium feel. A few days after buying it a friend mentioned that they bought the exact same model a year ago for their kitchen. In fact they bought two, and were more than happy with the purchase. Maybe RUVATI is the next "big-brand" in the kitchen sink category. ... show more

Sink arrived as advertised! Easy to install. I ordered an undermounted stainless steel sink with a center drain. The sink is has a nice depth to it, a very gentle slope with drainage marks allowing water to drain so it won't sit. I can easily wash my large soup pots with room to spare. The work station came with a colander, cutting board, and folding draining rack which are held in place with the stainless steel ledges on the front and back of sink. A standard drain is provided and comes with a small pail with holes that fits into the drain to catch and prevent debris from going down the drain, a drain plate cover with legs which allows the water to flow down the drain and a plate cover closing it off. I am extremely pleased with this sink and would buy it again! ... show more
