Because these are over a glass door that the landlord has older blinds on they do hang a bit short. Too bad the length is not 4" longer so they are not short. These black out curtains are fantastic!!! We first bought them for our master bedroom then bought them for all our kids bedrooms. They look great and they do make the rooms dark. They are reasonably priced too❤️

These aren’t really “blackout” as in you will still be able to see the outline of your closet door and you won’t be bumping into anything with these up but they get very dark. I don’t really like natural sunlight almost in a weird vampire-ish kind of way so I hate when my room is bright. These helped a ton with blocking out light during the day. And it’s pretty much pitch black at night even though I have bright street lights shining in my room. I think these are worth it for the price. I keep seeing people with no blinds saying these are bad curtains. If you don’t have blinds on your windows, these are NOT good blackout curtains. I would also suggest investing in blinds if you can. I have some cheap, thick blinds that I also keep closed which helps block out the light as well. But even with the blinds closed, too much light was getting into my room. This curtain made a world of difference. I ended up buying the black one btw! ... show more

These curtains are perfect. I usually go to sleep pretty early, & since bedroom window faces West I have the setting sun shining right in my window, especially in the summer months, making it extremely difficult to fall asleep, but not anymore. Thanks to these curtains, & the fact that I have them doubled up, I almost can’t tell what time of day it is outside. The thickness of the curtains, & the quality of the backing make it so that almost no light gets through regardless of time of day, & in the winter months that also blocks the cold windows, helping to keep my room much warmer.
