Like the Title says... Best to use 1st Before Regular Original Clear Enamel Cans, as this sprayer is not as powerful of a pressure spray, nor as better coverage... However it is Great for laying down an initial 1 or 2 Light coats, as it is not as concentrated aa the original style cans, but more evenly distributed... The fan is kind of slim, so you'll be at it for a while but the coverage seems even... It seems best used for smaller interior pieces and exterior trim pieces thats under 6" wide (automotive wise)... big panels like doors, hoods, roofs I dont recommend using for (as you'll be at it all say, and need to buy ALOT of cans!) Even for home usage its not that special.. Yes it doesn't run as easily, but its hard to really get this ro lay down a really wet look on bigger panels... So all in all this is GREAT FOR Smaller pieces and recommend fir it and for laying down initial light coats, as you won't be wasting alot of clear coat spraying into the air instead of onto the small pieces... It just is a weaker pressure behind it but has an evenly distributed small fan, kind of like the original Duplicolor 1k Clear cans (not sure about the nozzles on the newly labeled "1k Clear" Duplicolor cans, but i haven't heard of anything of different significance between them yet)... So any small trim pieces less than 6" wide or smaller, and for laying down initial light coats I highly recommend... Otherwise I don't recommend for using on anything else, any other bigger panels, and instead to go with the New 5-in-1 nozzle cans! It layers on with ease, lays out smooth and glossy, dries quickly and provides a medium for engraving detailed images on copper with an XTool 10 watt laser. The XTool 10 watt laser can not engrave copper without a coating. In the image, a copper sheet has first a gold coat then a black glossy topcoat. The gold makes the lettering on the lower plate β€œpop” much better than if only black on copper. The top most copper piece was debossed with a Cricut Maker and then a Dremel with a polishing wheel removed the paint from the lettering. The brass gavel was purchased on EBay as a one of a kind. The latches were purchased on Amazon and formed over the gavel. The box has a glass lid and available on Amazon at a very reasonable price. I bought another for another occasion. ... show more

I like this paint, but I probably need to find a sealer to spray over it bc it's scratching off of the metal floor vents that I spray painted. It does however work seem to work for hinges and pulls without needing a protective coat over top.

Replaced the corroded chrome plumbing fixtures in an old 1980's bathroom with bronze colored ones, but the tub stopper and device to open and close the tub stopper would have been too complicated to replace. So I used a heavy duty buffer on my drill to brush off the corrosion on those parts, and used this paint (2 coats) plus a a clear glossy top coat to protect it from the water.
