First of all, I only do reviews when something is really bad and I don't get a resolution or it's really good. This is my 3rd color in this brand of lip cover. When I get a new lipstick, I put it on in the evening and sleep with it on. This lipstick stayed on thru my drinking my water every 20 mins or so, hours, and when I woke up, I forgot about it until I looked in the mirror! It looked like I had just applied it! I'm not kidding! I use a matte stick liner then apply this coverage. Also, when I'm wanting to lift it, I apply a clear gloss. It's also great to go over a darker base color. I'm requesting they make matte colors. Although pearl is my favorite! May the 80s live on! It may be a little more costly than some other choices, but for the quality, it's very reasonable and you don't have to keep applying. So, it's worth it! ... show more

I’ve been wanting to try this for a couple of years, and phew, what a disappointment. First, the color: It’s okay. Very metallic, which I don’t mind. Sort of a dull coral. Not a terrible shade on me as a redhead with pale skin, but not the best either. The texture feels nice going on, but very difficult to get full coverage. Following the directions to apply one thin coat wouldn’t have worked out at all. Biggest disappointments: Extremely drying, even with proper lip prep. Worst of all, no staying power whatsoever. Doesn’t even last through drinking water. I eventually had to add balm, which was the end of whatever was left of it. I forgot to mention that the tube is *tiny* With daily use, I don’t see how it would last even a month. I will probably keep it as a lip topper to add a little shimmer to a better liquid lipstick, but that’s not what I was looking for. Bottom line, don’t waste your money on this. It’s worth maybe five bucks, not 28! ... show more
