Not the best material for a trench coat, I used it for a codplay I was doing and it worked just fine, just don't count on it lasting more than a few years. However, the design and the light weight comfortability factor make this a pretty darn good product that I've reccomended to a few friends, especially if you're looking for something inexpensive. The coat itself has some pretty decent water resistance, nothing for hard poaring rain I'm afraid, but it wouldn't be that wet if you went out in Seattle or something for a few minutes ... show more

It seems all of these Runcati coats are much larger than one would expect for something labeled "medium." As it indicates on the product page, the male is 6'1", wearing a large. Even that looks a bit big on him. Seeing as that there's no small available, that would suggest these are all intended for much larger people. As for the coat itself, it's very cheaply made. The fabric is thin, very much a light windbreaker as indicated. The stitching is barely passable, but the coat does *look* like it does in the photos. Overall, I feel the price could be lower for what it is, and the sizes need work. ... show more

I was worried that the ‘slim fit’ reference in the description would prevent me from being able to wear this coat, but it fits great. I ordered my normal XXL size and it is loose and very comfortable. I was also worried that at this price point I might be unhappy with the quality or feel of the materials, but it is very nice. The exterior fabric is about what I would expect for a rain coat - a little stiff and very synthetic feeling. The inner lining however is very comfortable, not too dissimilar from the lining of a sport coat. The outside pockets are deep and positioned in a usable location. The inner pocket is also ample, big enough to hold a check book and phone (if like me you still use checks 😀). The buttons are large and relatively easy to fasten even with my somewhat arthritic fingers. I wish the strap at the cuffs had an extra set of holes so the cuffs could be fastened a bit tighter. Instead the strap and button at cuffs is purely decoration, as is the button on the rear cape (for lack of a better or more correct term). The coat is perhaps not perfect for Florida weather, a bit too heavy to wear most of the year. However, in a heavy rain storm it will be nice to have. It is roomy enough that I could fit it over a suit jacket, though it will be a bit tight. In the few weeks of winter like weather that we get it will be perfect. I’m also looking forward to wearing it on vacation to the Pacific Northwest this fall/winter. ... show more
