My partner wanted some Thai fisherman pants, but I've used the traditional style and knew that he would get annoyed with the whole overlap/tie routine. These give him the awesome look he was going for with the convenience of an elastic waist! Comfy and very cool looking.

I love linen because it feels so crisp and comfortable against my skin. These pants are no exception. What I was expecting is not quite what I received, though. While these pants are linen harem pants, I expected them to be lightweight, airy summer/spring pants with a cool texture detail across the front, almost like a raised pleat. They’re actually quite bulky and have a decent weight. As well, what I thought was a texture detail is actually the open end of the pants, as the pant legs are basically one big layer of linen wrapped around till it overlaps in the front. I do enjoy these pants, but I struggle to find the outfit or the right occasion to wear them. I might recommend them for people who are looking to make more eccentric style decisions.

(This review is from my partner) I'm 6'2" and medium build, and these fit me quite well - others have mentioned these are short in the leg, but I'm a "long torso" guy so the length was actually perfect for me. The pictures are a good representation of how they look when worn. The waist elastic is sturdy but doesn't feel too tight - doesn't leave marks and isn't annoying against the skin. It should be mentioned that these have no pockets - though I'm not sure this particular style of pants is supposed to.

I always fall for pants that look like they will be extra-comfortable, but also aren't sweatpants, and the natural fiber content of these was an added selling point. I usually wear a US Women's 6-8, I'm 5'2" and often a Men's Medium size fits me. These pants were still a bit bigger than some similar ones I've bought, but they still fit with the drawstring waist, and the oversized quality is almost essential in this case, given the construction. The legs of these pants are actually each made of a wide piece of fabric meant to wrap around the leg and overlap, and have no side seams. For me, the legs had about 12" of fabric overlap, with the back of each leg wrapping around to the front, and although I have a bit of a breeze, I'm not exposing anything. If my legs or hips were wider, or the pants smaller, these might risk exposing your legs or undergarments. The pants are also a bit long on me, but the tapered ankles don't drag. On a taller person, these might hit at calf-length. Overall, I love the comfort and unusual style of these pants, and find them stylish and cool for warm weather--perfect for a vacation.
