I have this weird fondness for waffles. No idea why. That said, waffles for the most part aren't huge on the flavor scale no matter what you put in them. So, you have to find something flavorful to put ON them. This syrup is slightly smokey and boozy. In a very good way. It compliments the maple flavor immensely. My only complaint is the size of the bottle for the price. But, even with that being my complaint, I'll still be buying this again because of hope good it is. ... show more

I really enjoy whiskey. I've had a lot of bourbon aged whiskeys, but never purchased any from a higher end company. I decided to give it a try. Am I ever glad I did. When you open this up, it has an incredibly strong whiskey smell. It was mouth-watering. I took a small sip and was completely blown away. You get a forward caramel flavor, with a mid-tone of whiskey and then the aftertaste of the maple. 10 out of 10 I would buy this repeatedly. I'm excited to try it of course on pancakes, but also on vanilla and olive oil ice cream, in coffee, as the star flavor in some maple pecan cookies, in a glaze for some donuts, to pickle some hot peppers, and to turn it into a simple syrup for some refreshing mocktails. ... show more

I love the bourbon infused syrup. It could be eaten with waffles or pancakes or over ice cream. I like to use it to make glazes for meat and fish. Definitely worth the price.
