It is NOT a heavy down blanket, but still wonderfully comfortable to sleep with. The only downside is it takes forever to dry! But I would reccomend only washing in the gentle cycle and then drying low heat. So far no problems for me! Only reason I’m not giving this a five star is it could be a little bigger to fit nicer on a king size bed. A little more forgiving on the size and it would be perfect. The material and comfort level is amazing. I haven’t put it in a duvet yet, but rather have just tried it as is.
