I am extremely sensitive to nickel, brief contact and I break out in a painful blistering rash. As those of us with this issue have learned, tons of “surgical steel” is made still containing nickel, which defeats the purpose of it being hypoallergenic if you can’t tolerate nickel. I was a bit dubious with the listings that claim these are nickel free, considering they’re so affordable, but took my chances as I have been wanting new earrings in this style for a while, so that I can just leave them in 24/7. I’m happy to report I am pleasantly surprised, these are in fact nickel free, and have caused zero issues in the few weeks I’ve been wearing them. The size variety is fun if you have multiple piercings, I have three in each ear, and like that there’s enough choices in size to have them go from larger to smaller. The tempered metal is lovely, it’s always been my favorite so that you can have color variation, without the risk of paint chipping off, as that’s been an irritant in the past for me as well. The ends screw on tightly, and I’ve had no issues with the balls loosening over time yet. tl;dr: these are nickel free, and tolerated by my very sensitive skin. I really love these, and that the piercings come in multiple sizes (from pretty big to very tiny. Let me experiment and find what I like best. I’ve only had issue with one of my piercings out of several from Ruifan (also have extremely sensitive skin) I’ve also found chain nose pliers (got mine from Michael’s, Bead Landing- work really well), to grip the tiny/tightly screwed beads and get them off I’ve found with a lot of different piercings companies will screw them on so very tightly so they don’t get unscrewed and possibly lost in the mail ... show more

the quality is great and they feel very nice. i struggled for about two hours to get the round ones on. i suggest getting help from someone. also they’re very difficult to get in your piercing. they don’t bend and the opening is so tiny. you have to push it in and then turn it really fast or else it hurts. once they’re in they are super cute tho! ... show more

Great for my labret, the captive bead ring takes some getting used to but once you’re used to it it’s so easy to pop in and out (though I usually leave it in 24/7). No tarnishing or anything since it’s steel.

I like this, and although the design is a far cry from the Gauntlet body piercing jewelry of years past, these are satisfactory. My only complain is that these are so small, the floating bead architecture of these makes it almost impossible to reseat the tiny bead by yourself, and these should have been designed with the bead attached on one side with an insert hole for the free opening side to clamp into. Otherwise, if you're patient and/or stubborn + possibly lucky, you can reseat the floating bead on your own, but, it can be an ordeal, and once it's in, keep it in forever. :) ... show more

So I go through earrings like crazy! I loose things really easily and am hard on my jewelry. I feel like these will last a long time, they feel good in my ears, and they were fairly easy to put in. Like most jeweler rings they can be hard to get into your ears at first, so if this is your first time I would have someone help you because the ball snaps are easy to lose. I like how there are many different sizes so I can create a authentic look out of the product without being too cookie cutter. I just recently got my tragus and cartilage done so I wanted to complete the look I was going for and this was the best ring set to complete that look! 10/10! ... show more

I am very sensitive to cheap metals and need titanium earrings. Had an ear piercing done at an expensive salon with a 'guarantee' that they were using titanium earrings. My ears would not stop oozing, gross, very painful. For months. I squeegeed one of these into my swollen, painful ear and *whammo!* infection gone! I do not doubt the high quality of these earrings! They are shipped in a teeny ziploc bag, which is inside a cute drawstring bag, which is tucked neatly into another bag.
