Used to surprise friend at chemo- big smiles all around. Son has worn it to school dances and a football game. Suggest putting on bottom part/legs first. Im 5'3 and 250 and I fit in it but the zipper and fabric have ripped. Hoping glue can help

    • Good Costume Except for the Pump...

I have seen the inflatable dinosaur costumes online for such a long time, and finally decided to get one because I thought it would be fun to have! So while the quality of the costume itself is pretty decent for the money, the pump is honestly garbage. I only got to wear the costume for about 5 minutes before the pump started to have issues (bearing in mind that I did not bang it on anything or mishandle it in anyway). It would stop running, and would only work again when the wires were in a very specific position. After I got out of the costume, I disconnected the pump to see what was wrong with it. After I opened it up, I could see that one of the wires had already started to detach from the switch board, so it wasn't making proper contact with the electrical components and therefore couldn't run the fan. The only thing I could think was that because there's no pocket or place to clip the pump, the battery pack tugs on the cords and must have caused the wires to disconnect, even though it was only hanging for a couple minutes while I got into the costume. I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of returning the whole thing, so I'm just going to see if I can find a better quality pump of the same size elsewhere and replace that part myself. Otherwise, the costume itself inflated properly when the fan was working, and was fairly comfortable to wear, although would take some getting used to when walking around. ... show more

I am 5'11" so the standard size was listed as 5'11". It did fit but..... Put your feet in first (no shoes) and slide the costume legs up past your knees first. With your feet in now put your shoes back on. Then scrunch down and put your arms in and pull the head up, turn on the fan and clip it to your belt, and zip up. Then you can slide the costume legs back down to your ankles. It takes a minute or so for the fan to inflate the costume. The box that holds the batteries (4 AA) needs a tiny phillips head screw driver. I would recommend that you carry that and some extra batteries.
