I ordered a size Medium for my 6 year old, based on the size chart as recommended, and after reading many positive reviews. He wears size 6-8 clothing, depending on brand, and the size chart backed up my purchase. I'm not thrilled I spent $32 on this costume. The costume suit itself fits fairly well, if about 1.5" short at the arms. The mask is about 1" short on his face, so the sewn chin area hits his mouth when the eyes are properly centered. One of the eye pieces is sewn so poorly I'll have to re-stitch it myself because they missed the fabric entirely on the outer edge. (Poor quality control) For the price, I'd be happier (and so would my son) if this included the gloves. It doesn't. Best I can find (and he insists) is another $10. I've hand-made costumes for my kids many times in the past 7 yrs (oldest is 9 yrs old). Time does not allow this year. This is definitely not quality work. I'd say you get what you pay for...but in my opinion, I overpaid. Would I buy this again? No. Would I recommend it to a friend? Not unless it's extremely discounted. ... show more

This costume is great. My son loves it. I would say the only downfall is the mask. The mask doesn't fit his face at all. The eyes and nose holes dont come down to where they should so it is uncomfortable for him to wear which is disappointing for him. It is tight fitting so i probably should have gone a size higher than what he wears. ... show more

    • Mask is too small
The suit overall is great. The medium fits my larger than average 7 year old perfectly. BUT...the mask is too small. He does have a big head so maybe it would fit a normal 7 year old, but from other reviews it looks like this is a common issue. It was extremely disappointing. He used his own money to buy it and waited for so long to get it. He won't let me send it back for a larger size. If I could go back I would buy a large just for the mask. ... show more

    • Awesome suit, headpiece is for a baby!
I give the suit a 5, the headpiece a 1, like all the other reviews it is to fit an infant so we bough a different mask which i shouldn't have to do. The suit has some pilling after a few washes but if you're only using it for one night you won't have an issue.

Good quality costume that fit my 7 year old very well. However, the mask fits a little wonky and it's hard to get the eyes and nose holes in the right places. It's also very tight and made my son sweat profusely. He ended up taking the mask off half way through trick or treating due to his sweating.

Awesome costume for Halloween! The only thing that wasn’t great was the mask. The eye mesh holes weren’t in the right space and we ended up buying a different mask for our son to wear trick or treating

The look and fit of this costumes was just right for my 6 yr old, however, the mask was too small to fit on his head or any head of kids even 2 years younger. That's a real bummer when the mask of Spider Man sort of makes the entire costume. In reality, the kids never wear masks for more than 1-2 houses on Halloween before they take them off, so it wasn't that big a loss. ... show more
