This costume was perfect for our 6 year old! We had a Batman event to attend and needed something for our girly-girl. She loved it! It’s definitely more of a “costume quality” item rather than “dress up quality,” meaning I don’t anticipate it will handle much more use than a handful of wears (it’s already pealing in places). We snagged it very inexpensively as a warehouse deal, though, so it met our needs perfectly and is very cute!

My 5-year-old daughter chose this costume, and while it looks a little chintzy to me, I was just thrilled she wanted to go the superhero route and not dress like a princess or a fairy. We paid $26 or $27 for it, which is a little more than I would have liked to pay for something that is rather on the flimsy side. She fell in love with it because it is pink and shiny. She wore it to a couple of Halloween events before the actual day - and by the time Halloween rolled around, there were a couple of runs in the dress, and the belt was coming unravelled (it is made up of 3 pieces; the seams were coming out on one side). A safety pin thankfully held it together through trick-or-treating. The mask was also starting to come apart in places, but somehow managed to hang on throughout the festivities. One fortunate thing is that the costume is on the loose side (my daughter is typically a size 5/small), so we were able to layer a long sleeve shirt underneath for trick-or-treating on a chilly Halloween night.

Many other customers said that they did not receive a belt or a face mask, but I received both. Also, many people said it ran large and I wouldn't agree with that statement. I ordered a size small because everyone said it ran large, but it fits like any other small would be expected to fit and now I wish I had ordered a medium, because my daughter is big (as in tall and wide) for her age. The only thing is that the metallic belt looks kind of like it has metal, but it's completely foam and also the batman insignia on the chest does not stand out like it shows in the picture. Rather it's sewn in and very flat. Overall though, I'm happy with the purchase. I'm just disappointed by the lack of consistency with the supplier because I spent money on a belt and a face mask because of the other reviews and now I have double of both.

Beyond disappointed with this purchase. I bought a size small for my daughter. The size states it is 4-6 and offered measurements for height and waist. After receiving this item, I was pretty pissed off when we pulled it out of the package to find that the size and measurements were EXTREMELY inaccurate to what was desrcibed. This particular costume is more apporiate for a toddler who wears a size 2T! Not to mention, the costume looks NOTHING like the picture. The belt is NOT shiny as depicted in the photo and the belt and mask are very flimsy and dont hold their shape well at all...DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!

I bought this costume for Halloween for my daughter, who wears a size 4T clothing, is tall and thin. The size small fit her perfectly. The fabric is pink shimmery lame (luh-may, the type of fabric). The boots, gauntlets, belt, and mask have a thin, spongy layer attached to the lame, which gives them more heft. Straight out of the package, the costume was wrinkled, of course, but smoothed out nicely by hanging it up. The belt is held in place by two belt loops and ties in the back, which is fine because it's covered by the cape. Everything held up fine, except for the mask, which did not make it through the night before getting ruined. This is the reason for the loss of a star in my rating. The inside of the mask (the spongy material) tore in many places and then became separated from the fabric front of the mask, making it unwearable. It wasn't that big of a deal, because by that point my daughter had her fun with the mask and didn't seem too upset about it. All in all, I am satisfied by the quality for the price. It was adorable and my daughter loved it.

My daughter loves her costume and it looks great. I’m not thrilled how the mask looks, to me it looks like a bunny so I will have to fix it, I also don’t care for the belt because it’s not thick like I was hoping. Otherwise it’s a great fit. Stretchy and light weight.

This is a fabulous costume! My daughter loves it and has had it on every day since it arrived last week. She even slept in it a couple of nights. The other reviews are correct in saying that it needs some mending. We had to reinforce the velcro on the mask and the elastic on the bottom of the boots. After a little stitching it is fine. We also sewed on a small piece of material to the back of the face mask so that it wouldn't stretch any further and tear. This was a fabulous idea. Do it! I only deducted one star for this because the rest of it is great. The material is a durable shiny pink. My daughter is a size 4 and wears a size 9 shoe and the small fits perfectly. If she were a 5 or older I would get the medium. Totally worth the money.

Ordered a small based on size chart provided for a 6/7. Received a toddlers size small which lists it as being a size 2-4. Frustrating! Material is thin and worried it could rip easily while running around in this.
