I got these handles to reinforce a plastic shelving unit and it worked out great - very sturdy and strong.. My only comment was that all the gummy stickers and tags directly on the wood did not come off easily or cleanly and did take off some of the wood finish. While this didn't matter to me for my use, someone else may have an issue if using it as a broom handle since it did take off some wood finish. ... show more

Nice handle. Smooth, straight. Longer than usual. I bought it mostly for that extra length. However , it didn’t fit all that well with the broom head, or the gutter cleaner attachment I have. It wiggles a good deal with both. Now that could be that I have an issue with both my attachments. Both fit pretty nicely on the handle I broke, however, so that points to there be something ever so slightly off here. It’s a good handle, and long, so if you can tolerate a bit of wiggle, it’s worth it. Otherwise, there might be cheaper options that work better. ... show more
