This 8-pack of furniture pads will, as advertised, accommodate furniture legs up to 3.5 inches. The ones I got are made of dark brown rubber which blends in visually with my dark flooring. They are thick enough that I anticipate they will last a lifetime of normal use. I don’t have any negative thoughts about this product. However, given their large size, if the legs of the furniture you’re planning to use these with are small, you might want to consider looking for a similar product that isn’t quite as large so that the protectors aren’t so visible. ... show more

These furniture pads are a little larger than I initially expected. They are 3.5” square with respect to their INTERIOR dimension. The OUTER dimension is 3-7/8” x 3-7/8”. (See my attached photos.) I ordered these furniture pads for a large recliner chair, and these pad were way too big according to my wife. That was my mistake, not the manufacturer’s mistake. Nevertheless, I am telling you this so that you do not repeat my error. These pad are 100% flexible brown rubber. For whatever it is worth, they are about the same color as a Hershey milk chocolate bar. I smelled these rubber pads for my review, and there was no offensive odor. You have nothing to worry about with respect to weird chemical scents. All furniture pads are either grippers or sliders. These furniture pads are grippers. Country of Origin: China Summary: These are good furniture pads if you have a very large piece of furniture with unusually thick legs. These ended up being a little larger than I realized, but I have large, chunky furniture legs to accommodate and these were more than adequate to do the job.
