So, here's the deal: I have a queen size bed, but I went all out and ordered the king size comforter because I wanted that dreamy, draped-over-the-sides look. And let me tell you, it was worth it! Picture 1 is what it looks like laid on a king size bed with bed frame at approx. 10" Picture 2 is what it looks like on my queen size bed with bed frame at approx. 18" + 2" topper (has a duvet cover on, also from amazon) (that's another review) This comforter is pure perfection. The medium warmth is ideal for all seasons, keeping me snugly cocooned without overheating. The premium greyduck feathers are unbelievably soft and fluffy, giving me those swanky hotel vibes right in my own bedroom. It's like I'm sleeping on a cloud, people! First I would say pay attention to your selection, as the 3 filling options are described and even pictured in the descriptions. We bought the "winter," which is described as 70 oz. fill weight. They go down from there. So if you're looking at the main pic but ordering the thinner comforter, no, it's not going to be similar. That being said, even the winter doesn't quite match the fullness in the main pic. We spread it out for 24 hours then tossed it in the dryer on air fluff for 20 min. Yes, it is very good quality, very comfortable, and I love the semi-heavy weight. You can see how fluffy it looks folded in half on top of my pretty flat quilt. But it's not just inches thick or anything when laid out, like in the main pic. Maybe there's a hack I don't know about to fluff it up like that. ... show more

Arrived on time. I placed it in my dryer on a medium, mist-refresh cycle 3x with a fabric softener sheet. It fluffed up great and I had no issues with smell. I first used this down insert on July 4th. It felt great for 15 minutes, then I got a little warm. Menopause could be the entire reason. My husband slept like a baby. He loved it. I am keeping it. The media could not be loaded. The king size fits my queen bed perfectly! I'm so glad I ordered up. I wanted it to be dripping over pretty far because I have stuff stored under my bed. Thank gosh I didn't order the queen or I would be disappointed. It hasn't fluffed up like the picture yet but it's only been an hour. It crinkles, so if you are a little sleeper with a flip flopping bf/gf next to you, I wouldn't recommend. Its pretty loud. It doesn't smell bad. I haven't seen imperfections. Medium weight. I love this duvet! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was hoping for something lighter. I got the lightweight and it will still be too warm for summer. That being said, it is so cozy! I love curling up under this. I got a king size for a queen bed and I love the way it hangs. I read reviews that talk about the noise. Itโ€™s fine. I wanted a comfortable, plush comforter and was kind of skeptical when I came across this one bc the price was so low. I can glady say that I got exactly what I wanted. I live in FL and I got the all season bc I'm going to use it yr around. It's nice and thick, however, it can get a little too warm so u better make sure ur air is on all night lol Also it makes a little crinkling sound when moving around, but its not that big of a deal.
