The goose down is very uniform, I can also tell that is a very high quality down too, no heavy pin feathers in this one and consistent between all of the squares. This comforter came with a label indicating that it is only 50% down and 50% feathers. Dark feathers are visible through the case. Should not be sold as a down comforter.
