I also have a mattress topper and foam topper on my bed, and the sheets cover everything securely. The sheets don't slide or come up after a night's sleep. I was very impressed with the sizing of the pillowcases as well. They fit perfectly. The bold burgundy color did not fade in the washing machine. They are very affordable on Amazon. These were a great buy for the price. They aren't going to be the best towels you ever owned because I don't think they will stand up to every day abuse, but for guest towels they are soft and fluffy and work well if you follow the simple instructions. Pro-tip: 1. Always wash in cold, with no bleach, not even the color safe kind. That breaks these things down quicker than anything. Overly hot water also takes it's toll. Today's detergent is meant to work better in cold water, so use cold, and they come out clean. 2. Don't over spin them in the washer either. Wash them on gentle or no spin with some woolite or fabric softener and even these cheap towels come out right nice. 3. To keep them fluffy I don't over do the heat in the dryer. I wring them out and then put them on tumble dry with a dryer sheet at medium heat. They still dry up nicely but they don't get that crunchy feeling. IF for some reason these are heavily used around pools or things where it will be soaking up lots of chemicals and you have to give them a serious cleaning and need more than mild detergent, you can use hydrogen peroxide, borax, baking soda or, in extreme circumstances, a little bit of TSP. Honestly for these when I used them at pool parties, I just added a bit of hydrogen peroxide to the water and I haven't seen any degradation and they still fluff up nice. It isn't as powerful as bleach but then again, over time, it won't eat up your towels and you can get your money's worth out of them. Hope you found this helpful!
