I love crisp cotton sheets …preferably percale over sateen and def no on microfiber. My hubby sleeps hot so breathable and cool sheets outweigh having super soft sheets. I also find super soft sheets like microfiber or higher thread count don’t look as clean and get bunchy. These royale linen sheets in the floral purple are gorgeous. I washed them twice when I got them and they weren’t super wrinkled when I took them out of the dryer. The colors in the print r beautiful and they feel so nice to sleep on. They fee like crisp hotel sheets. Like them so much I immediately came back to amazon and bought a backup set for the guest room. This is an identical print to a threshold sheet set that Target sold a few yrs back that they don’t have anymore but these are in my opinion much better. Threshold sheets r sateen cotton but like I said I prefer percale cotton which these feel like. Great price for quality sheets. Happy shopper! ... show more

We were very pleased with the quality; they are soft, even though they are not high thread count ( and were actually softer than similar thread count sheets we looked at in major box store.) Will launder them to soften them up and to remove the tacky, waxy adhesive like coating from the top sheet. Otherwise, they're decent 100% cotton sheets and pillowcases and i have no reason to believe, therefore, that they won't perform well at the height of summer heat.
