After a year of use would buy again and still loving. There is some pilling in the middle of the fitted sheet but it doesn’t bother me any. (Looks more gnarly in the photos than IRL) elastic still solid. I wash and dry these like normal sheets. Color is a true black. Will buy again when this one runs its course. I'm actually impressed with these sheets. I read all the reviews before purchasing and was a little Leary but if you listen to people saying wash these at least twice before you put on your bed they will not bleed and I was pleasantly surprised to say they got softer with each wash the reason I'm rating only 4 stars is because of the thread count but hey I guess if I wanted that I could pay 2-400 bucks for better satin sheets. I will probably buy another set in cream. The price is good and listen to the reviews about washing and u won't have a problem. And for the price I think you too will be pleasantly surprised with these ... show more

Great for the money. The bottom sheet tends to come off even though it seems of high-quality material, but I am a fairly violent sleeper. Pillowcases are comfortable, and overall a great buy. I was surprised by how shiny the black sheets were, though, I was expecting a more matte style sheet - then again, it is called 'Royal Opulence' and I don't really know much about the difference between types of fabric (I'm a male college student, decorating isn't really my strong suit) If you're not looking for something in particular and just need a set of C-King sheets at a good price, look no further. If you're looking for something specific, I hope the other reviews will be more helpful :) ... show more

These were more comfortable than I expected - very smooth and cool (which is nice living in a warmer climate) and thicker than I expected. I was worried about staining so I put them through the wash cycle twice before using them and haven't had any issues with staining. I like that these have elastic all the way around, although I was already using Sheet Suspenders Brand Sheet Minis to keep my sheets in place. The only thing I don't like is that I feel like my head is sliding around on the pillow case, so I usually use a pillow case from a different sheet set. My husband doesn't mind the pillow cases though and really likes this sheet set. ... show more
