I'm happy with the Royal & Langnickel Essentials 12x16" Black Triple Gessoed Canvas Panels. I like to learn new painting techniques on my own as a hobby. I wanted to try some painting on a black background to practice some skills in black and white to better master lighting. These have saved me some time as I don't need to get out my own black gesso and wait for that to dry over the course of a few layers. These are ideal for me, they save loads of time and mess. Another bonus to working on a black background is that it's fun for neon colors under a black light and also make mica powder infused paints really pop. There are a lot of possibility for fun with these canvas panels, depending on the type of paint you use, mediums, additives, effects and techniques. These might not work well with transparent paints, but are better for opaque paints. I certainly will be saving this order and making a repeat in the near future. Thanks for reading my review.
