Royal Copenhagen aftershave has a richly refined and robust fragrance that is not overpowering yet has an impressive longevity. It smells wonderful and feels great! This one has quickly moved into my all-time favorite aftershaves. I'm now curious about the cologne/EDT version and pairing it up with the aftershave. If you like "Aqua Velva" you might like this. Use with care: While you can get away with a lot using "Aqua Velva" you use LESS with this. Testing: If you're unsure if your body chemistry will work well with this my suggestion is to find a retail store that carries this. Ask if you can test it. Don't test it alone. Ask a girlfriend or the clerk if it works for you. Note: Royal Copenhagen, has both aftershave AND then there is the colone. You do NOT use the colone as an after shave. The scent is much stronger. Btw... When I was married my wife picked chose this for me.

Don't have it yet, but this is by far my favorite fragrance for my husband. I will be nice since this is a rating, but I could eat him alive when he is wearing this. Not sure what it is and I know everyone is different, but I could bathe with him in this. It just meshes perfectly with him and I will continue to get it for him anytime I need to so long as the company doesn't stop making it. I first bought this for him 30 years ago so it has been around for awhile. Companies for some reason like to change and I pray they never change this one. It is perfect just the way it is. It smells awesome in the bottle but incredibly good on my man. Love it, love it, love it. Please do not stop making it. And thank you for making it in the first place. :) So far after all these years, haven't met anyone that has smelled it say they didn't like it by the way.

My husband has been using this since before we were married……..because I bought it for him and have continued to do so for over 35 years. I’m very sensitive to smells, some are appealing at first……then with in minutes seem sickeningly sweet or too strong to me. This Royal Copenhagen after shave is a fav for both of us. He receives many compliments on this old standard and I’m grateful it is STILL around. Give it a wiff 😌 ps I used to spend 50-60$$$$ on it (8oz) in department stores, so “maybe” not original?? Still smells great to us and he likes the “cooling” after his shave.

Has a great scent. Every girlfriend, or woman I have ever dated loved it. I have even had woman I didn't even know come up to me and ask what aftershave I was wearing, and how much they liked the scent. But what is more important is that it works. I use an electric shaver, and it closes the pores and relieves the irritation with a single application. Although it may seem a little pricing, it is a great aftershave. I have been using it for 25 years. It is my favorite, and I would highly recommend it.
