Our vet recommended this for my dog who has some digestive issues, and not only has it been helping, but even when I don't give her wet food with it she still hungrily chows down. Plus I love the 3 1/2 pound option, which is great for smaller dogs so it doesn't get stale.

My dog has had soft stools her entire life. What I’ve tried: this food, Fromm’s all flavors, Diamond, Blue Buffalo, Pro Balance, Science Diet, and maybe a couple others. My vet put her on Purina EN. It’s not ideal. Her stools are still mushy. But they’re a little more “formed.” What I’m saying is Royal Canin did not help my dog. I hope it helps yours. ... show more

No problem transitioning! Very impressed actually, as I have a 1 1/2 year old Papillon who has a super, ultra sensitive stomach and is a very picky eater. She didn’t second guess the food and dove right in which is surprising. The size of the kibble could be a tad smaller for chewing/digestion reasons for smaller breeds. We think half the size of the existing kibble would be perfect to amplify the product. In addition to anyone from Royal Canin reading this: Is there ever going to be an organic, grain/gluten free dry food available that is all plant based set to hit the shelves anytime soon? Let me know if anyone comes across an organic/gluten free brand that works with sensitive breeds and has some sort of plant based hemp omegas for joint/arthritis already in the food (not treats).
