I have introduced this toy cats diets slowly as is recommended when changing cat foods to avoid digestive sensitivities in cats. After 4 months of use there is no change other than an increase in their energy. No weightloss though. My cats were also somewhat finicky towards this and they are normally very flexible in what they eat. Your results could vary of course as many veterinarians carry and recommend this. ... show more

Bought this food in Canada for my Cat and he has lost weight but haven't been able to find it in stores seems we moved to US which is why I've been looking for it on Amazon. Expensive for a small bag but my cat has been loosing weight and he loves it.

Cat 1: —12 years old —always free-fed —no weight issues —8 lbs. (historical baseline ~6.8 lbs.; she gained some weight after she recovered from an accident and two surgeries) —5 weeks in: 7.6 lbs. —8 weeks in: 7.4 lbs. —10 weeks in: weight stable Cat 2: —~4 years old —will eat every chance she gets —15.4 lbs. baseline —5 weeks: 14.6 lbs. —8 weeks: 14 lbs. —10 weeks: 14.4 lbs. Both cats were free-fed diet cat food for slightly over 10 weeks. (I know, ideally I would have separated them and measured their food individually…) Both cats really liked the cat food (I think more than their normal Meow Mix), and both cats lost weight.
