The product is good and is easy to install. With me the verdict is still out. As seen in the picture I’m attaching to brick. I cleaned the brick, installed and I almost immediately started having some problems with it holding. The last thing I tried was warming the brick and applying with extended pressure. It has been holding for about 24 hours and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. A toddler grabbing and pulling on it may be a problem. Like I said, good idea, but brick is a challenge. 2nd review: As I said above I attached to brick. Now I can tell you from being in the automotive business, 3m products are among the best when it comes to glues, tapes or any kind of sealant. But sticking to brick presents a challenge and I’m having one. A toddler can be destructive. Nothing he likes better than to pull on this item. He can get it loose also. It also means the tape is getting less and less tacky. Long story short, this is not for brick and I’m not sure what is. ... show more

We have had this bumper up for over a week now and I have been very impressed. My one critique is that the 3M tape is not very forgiving when installing, but does hold extremely well after you apply it in place. My wonky corner shown in my images was my first piece I installed and it wasn't totally square to the corner when I applied it so now it sticks out a little bit. So far it has not come off. But my 1 year old has noticed it and sometimes picks at it. Hopefully it will stay on. Otherwise I love this product and it actually gives our fireplace an upgrade. I was able to install this all on my own the with exception of my husband helping me cut the large front piece. My son has been playing near our fireplace and my worries have subsided significantly! ... show more

Sticks great, kinda awkward to line the corner up correct. I stuck it to the underside of my counter overhang since that’s where the baby would smoke his head the hardest. It’s very squishy and I have tried hitting it multiple ways as a test and it never hurts so works great! My son is about 1.5 inches from whacking his head so I think this will work perfect when he does get there ... show more

I have some homemade shelves that are "rustic" if you know what I mean. There are some uneven places where I messed up and the pieces don't come together perfectly. I tried two other corner protectors and they both either fell off because of the unevenness or were pulled off by my kid who promptly tried to eat them. These foam protectors are the solution! They're big enough to stick to an uneven corner and the adhesive is Much stronger than the old protectors so kiddo can't pull them off (she tried). Great product. I ordered more corners and am using them all over the house wherever a clear plastic corner protector has fallen off. ... show more

This product is fair and does the intended job well. My only gripe was the install. The corner pieces were easy enough… it was the rolled up edge pieces. I understand they have to do it that way dude to differing dimensions/lengths needed. It was a little annoying to cut through and be exact although not a huge deal. My biggest annoyance was that the double sided tape that adheres the product comes installed on the corners but not on the rolled edge pieces and it’s a little annoying and time consuming to install that. It seems to be well made and so far it has worked for our brick fireplace. The adhesion seems to hold well and it looks pretty good, is hardly noticeable. The media could not be loaded. Size Large. Bought a new bed frame, metal, and needed padding to protect our toes when walking by. I placed tape on one side only, personal preference because it's not a big surface. With double sided tape you must make sure it is pressed down to the rubber piece first, using pressure with fingers, for at least a minute. Then once you place it on the surface you are sticking it to do not use this same pressure until it is in the spot you want it. It's easier to take off slowly and readjust if pressure is not completely applied yet. Once in place press down in all taped areas for a minute or two to make sure you have the bond. Pictures I used flash but it blends extremely well with my new frame. I cannot speak on the corner pieces because i bought those separately, before I saw others sold them in a pack such as this one. But the corner pieces look and feel durable and soft just like my new toe savers! This is a must for me to have. I broke my toe as it met with the corner of the dresser earlier this year so i know the couple weeks or so of pain and swelling. ... show more
