Simply sprinkle the product around your plants at rate of 3⁄4 oz. (2 Tbsp) per 10 sq. ft., rake it into the top inch of soil, then activate it by lightly watering-in. It works like a premergent. I sprinkled it on my pavers both front and back yards and swept it in the cracks and crevices, Then I lightly watered sprayed with water.

Don’t waste your money

Well, you know, I weeded my beds and poured this all over it, but does it work? No! The weeds came right back after a month or two…don’t waste your money.

I think it works, but only lasts about 6–8 weeks

This is, of course, your basic pre-emergent herbicide used first thing in the spring for preventing crabgrass. You have to use it at least once or twice again 6-8 weeks later to be impressed however because it doesn’t last any longer than that and crabgrass emerges for the entire summer, though the majority comes out March through May ... show more

Round up granules to stop weeds

Roundup weed Barrier Granules does the trick on eliminating most weeds in my flower bed! Definitely better than preem! These granules stop about 90% of the weeds, I always put it down in late February or early March before I put down a new layer of mulch.
