Got about 2.75" lift on '01 Jeep XJ with a JKS adjustable track bar. Tried to adjust bar to recenter axle after slight lift increase after a few years on Jeep. Could not get adjustable end to turn, rusted solid. Bought this Rough Country track bar, installed it, easy on vehicle adjustment. Recentered steering wheel, took it for a drive. Steering actually feels tighter, less wandery. Jeep drives really nice, feels better than the JKS bar that was about double the price. This product worked great and fit well on my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. The product showed up on time, was packaged great and part was more beefier than the OEM part. Was easy to install and adjust to my 3" lift. Rides great. Will see how the rear one does when I get it in next week. Took me about an hour to install. Adjustability allowed for the front axle to be centered after previous owner lifted it. Bracket & track bar fit like OEM parts. And the price is right. Perfect product for a daily driver with some off road capabilities.

    • Cured the mild death wobble on our xj cherokee
Fixed the early stages of death wobble on our xj cherokee. Install went pretty well. One hole on the bottom of the mounting bracket was pretty tight, but got bolt in with a little assistance from a ratchet strap.

    • Good quality, but slight flaw.
This is a good quality, heavy duty track bar. This was not a direct "plug and play" fit for my ZJ however, as the metal sleeves on the insides of the bushings were longer than the overall bushings were. This meant they would not fit and I had to take an angle grinder and grind the ends of these sleeves down in order to make them fit. I had to do this to both bushings. Everyone else that I know that has installed one of these track bars was able to install it with no problems, so I was a little annoyed that I had to do extra work because of Rough Country's lacking quality control. ... show more

Item was packaged very well. As for the install on my 1993 Jeep XJ with 3” Pro Comp lift (yes I know it’s trash).... Certain Cherokee models are equipped with a round nut, yes I said round, affixed to the stock track bar frame mount. Be prepared to cut this thing off and don’t fool with it as, it will win. Installation was very simple after that. Eliminated horrible death wobble. Highly recommended, worth the extra few dollars over the competition. ... show more
