Installation requires cutting and grinding, and includes a new lift block that replaces the factory block. This kit is not compatible with 2014–2016 Denali models equipped with Magnetic Ride Control, or models with the eAssist (ECO Hybrid) package due to additional drivetrain components and sensor placement. If your vehicle has a mass damper on the front differential, it must be removed to allow adequate clearance when lowering the differential. When retaining factory wheels, we recommend using tires no wider than 11.5 inches. For aggressive sidewall tires or to retain factory wheels, a 0.25" wheel spacer may be required for additional clearance.

If you’re familiar with basic truck maintenance or have experience with lift kits, it’s a manageable job that can be done in a day with the right tools. The kit came with clear instructions, and all the necessary hardware was included. However, if you’re a beginner, you may want to have a professional do the installation to ensure everything is done correctly. Build Quality The quality of the components is solid. The shocks, springs, spacers, and brackets that came with the kit all feel robust and well-made. After driving with the lift kit installed for several weeks, I’ve noticed no signs of wear or issues with any of the parts. The materials seem durable enough to handle off-roading conditions and regular road use. The kit also includes everything necessary for both front and rear lift, ensuring balanced height across the truck. Performance & Handling The 3.5-inch lift gives my truck a much more aggressive stance, improving its appearance significantly. It also accommodates larger tires (which is one of the main reasons I got the lift), offering better ground clearance for off-road adventures. After installing the lift kit, I noticed a slight change in handling, but nothing dramatic. It fits really good. Simple to put in but will need a set of wheel spacers cause the inside of the tire will rub the a-arm.

Beginning measurement 36 9/16. Final measurement 41". Measured from ground to center of fender well. 2014 factory suspension was ready to be changed out. Extremely happy with ride. Belle Tire, alignment next day. Actually started the install Friday late afternoon. 4 hours on front struts and upper control arms. Woke up started on cross member and transfer case spacers @ 8am. Moved to the rear installed the rear blocks. All on the ground no lifts. Showered and to Belle Tire by 1pm, alignment 1Hr. Factory 18" with BFGoodrich K02 LT275 65's. Small road trip est. 56miles round trip. 70 mph stable, and no vibrations. ... show more

It may be price effective but its not worth it. I am a conservative driver and dont get in any rush. The control arms included sit in half about 20k miles since the lift was installed. I have to replace my ball joints every 2 oil changes basically because the angles are so bad and ruin the ball joints. Pay more and get something of good quality and have your angles that are basically factory. You will make your money back in the long term. ... show more

The look is great, and installation was relatively easy, all things considered. HOWEVER- I’m on stock 20s with standard, stock tires (non A/T) and the inner walls of the tires rub when making tight turns.

If you know what your doing. I started about a week before the install, spraying all nuts and bolts with a penetrating oil. When the kit arrived the wrong instructions where enclosed in it, no biggie, went to Rough Country web site and downloaded the right ones. Read thru them numerous times before doing the job. I also order a new set of OEM alignment caster/camber cam bolt kits to replace the stock ones. As for the install, the only part that took the most time was getting to one of the front diff bolts, but nothing a few extensions could not reach. I also order a set of rear shock boots from a different manufacturer thru Amazon cause the kits doesn't come with them. Total install time was about 6hrs by myself. A cordless 1/2" impact with deep sockets really helps. Now to get it an alignment and some 285's. ... show more
