Me and a buddy of mine just installed this 2" leveling kit on my new 2016 Chevy Colorado Z-71, 4-door truck. I paid like $89 for the kit, and it was pretty easy to install. The directions were very well written and easy to understand, along with the photos. It took the two of us 2-hours to install, and we had no mishaps. And we were fortunate to have his garage lift to help. We had to rent a spring compressor at O-Reillys Auto in oder to disassemble the struts, but it all went well. It's just turning bolts and nuts. Save the money and do-it-yourself. It definitely looks better and sits level now. And, if you were wondering if it changed the ride....it DID NOT. I thought it might be a little stiffer afterwards, but not so. It rides exactly the same as it did stock. No noises and no stiffness. Very smooth. And the steering is fine too. No need for an alignment, although I will keep my eyes on the front tires to make sure they wear correctly. Other than that, it's a great product. It worked well for me. I give it a 10. ... show more

Fairly easy to install and very clear-cut installation instructionā€™s available via a QR code in the package for free download complete with step-by-step pictures of almost all of the process. Instructions also list most of what hand tools, sockets, and wrenches you need but still thereā€™s a couple extra ā€˜convenienceā€™ tools not listed, but you probably have. Just take your time and it will be worth it. Donā€™t forget to get your wheel/front end alignment afterwards, for the best results. ... show more

This kit is probably easy to install if you have a lift and a licensed mechanic, for the average Joe with a garage and jack-stands not so much. With that being said itā€™s a very well built kit and does level it out nicely, unless you are mechanically inclined have a professional put this on, if you do it yourself itā€™ll be an all day project. ... show more

Just had this lift kit installed by professionals and overall satisfied with the look of it, much more balanced appearance. purchased the 2" inch lift kit with the rings but the rings don't fit nbd , just something to keep in mind if looking, go with just the spacers if have a ZR2. Appreciate all the reviews šŸ™ŒšŸ¼and answers back on my question of will it fit, thank y'all too šŸ¤šŸ¼ and the driving experience is basically the same which is great šŸ‘ ... show more

It's been a week since I installed the 2" kit on my Colorado and it looks much better. I don't have to worry about ground clearance in the front anymore bc of the bumper spoiler lip which I like so I didn't want to remove it. IMO It rides better and feels more like a truck. I haven't aligned it yet bc it doesn't pull at all even at high speeds but I will monitor my tires in the next couple months and have one done eventually. Update:Got one done and is needed. Took me 5 hours bc I didn't have all the right tools and did one side at a time. Tips: Use a Impact wrench for spring compressor, Ratchet wrench for top of strut, and a ratchet strap for control arm. ... show more
