  • Get your offset correct to run 33s and keep it looking clean.
So far I have had a good experience with this item. It does exactly what it says. Lift and level. The ride quality stayed the same as well aside from the obvious tire tread difference. Installation was simple from what shop told me. Install + alignment was about $550. This may help anyone gauge price to do the work. Anything over 600 I would say is too much. I had a performance shop do it because they are no stranger to figuring things out with aftermarket parts. They had to use a ratchet straps to pull the wheels into alignment. Also, I'm running 33x12.5x20 ridge grappler tires on a 9x20 wheel. Only modification needed to wheel well was to fold over the pinch weld and pull back cloth liner to remove the slack. Here's the important part for anyone trying to run 33s..... GET YOUR OFFSET RIGHT! haha. That's important and I researched for 1 month. No one has any real info online for this vehicle. Just forums with people arguing. I have a +30 offset wheel which allows the 33 to fit. RC claims a +38 offset needs no modifications at all with an 11.5 wide tire. I wanted a small aggressive poke on the sides and a wider footprint tire. If you want 33s and a lower offset or perhaps a 0 or - offset, be prepared to chop the fender outside liner up and you'll look crappy. ... show more

  • Professional install preferred!
Honestly a really great product that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Was able to fit 33’s underneath just as advertised. Be aware you will have to do a pinch weld fold over to allow the tires to fit and not rub. Rough country gives specs on which tire/wheel size to go with to prevent rubbing, etc. I wanted a small aggressive poke out the sides so I went with a wider 12.5” tire. If that’s the route you’re going, get the offset right!! The stance on my Jeep is amazing and I loved how it turned out but if you wanted to push those tires further out with a lesser offset wheel or wheel spacers just know you may have to trim the inner fender a bit which may not look pretty. Also in terms of installation, definitely not a product for the amateur. Look around your area and do some research on who can do it for a good price. I wouldn’t recommend spending more than $500-$600 for somebody to install these things. Expensive doesn’t necessarily mean a better end product. Read reviews, call around and you will find the right guy for the job! ... show more

  • This is not a install from a tube video project!
The instructions are clear and the process is straight forward. That being said, there are specialty tools needed for the install and you have to compress the struts to in order to install the front lift kit. I broke two CV joints on axles doing this install on the drivers side. The drive front axle must come out to reinstall the strut. If the OEM axle is in place it will not slide through the yoke of the strut tower. The aftermarket axles will side through the yoke at the lower a-frame. The rear was standard tools, just take photos to make sure things go back the way they were. The configuration can be bolted back incorrectly ... show more

  • Good but not great.
This kit is ok. I got the Rough Country 2.5” lifted front Struts and those work great. I then installed this leveling kit for the rear with The Rough Country N3 Shocks, and it’s a bit more bouncy than the factory shocks. I may have duds, I don’t know. But this kit at least make the Jeep Grand Cherokee leveled and looks good. ... show more

  • A BIT OF A PAIN IN THE BUTT IF YOUR TRUCK IS OLDER OR LIVES IN SOME RAIN/SNOW AREA.
GREAT LITTLE KIT.. LIFTED MY JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE A GOOD 2.5 INCHES. MAKES IT LOOK EXACTLY THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE LEAVING THE FACTORY. MY TRUCK SEEMED SUPER LOW WHEN I FIRST GOT IT. ALMOST FELT LIKE SOME SORT OF SOCCER MOM STATION WAGON .. IT WAS PATHETIC LOOKING. NOW WITH THE LIFT AND SOME 275/65/18'S ON IT, IT LOOKS GREAT. TIRES ARE A LT VERSION SO THEY RIDE A LITTLE ROUGH BUT PRIOR TO THE TIRES WITH THE FACTORY GOOD YEARS ON IT, RAN JUST AS SMOOTH WITH THE LIFT. VERY COMFORTABLE RIDE AND LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS. A BIT OF A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO INSTALL, BUT IF YOU'RE PATIENT ENOUGH AND ARE A BIT OCD LIKE MYSELF, THE PAY OFF IS WORTH IT ON SAVINGS FROM HAVING A SHOP INSTALL IT. ... show more

  • Read before installing
I would highly recommend not to install the small preload spacer in the FRONT, because it will make your front higher than rear. I didn't install it and looks 10/10 level and less work, check the pics.

  • Poor customer service
Price is ok for this product and it looks like it is built well, however customer service needs to be improved. Prior to the installation I bought all the tools that are listed on the instruction manual only to find out I didn’t need half of them and needed other special tools. Customer service didn’t correct my concern. I will take my business elsewhere from now on when shopping for my jeep. ... show more

  • Must have wheel spacers to run stock rims
Had to pay a local shop $550 to install and took them about 4 hours. If you want to run stock rims you will need at least a 1/4” 5x5 spacer to run almost anything. The bolt from the control arm will lay on top of the tire if not. I tried 2 different tires and went with a 285/55/20 ridge grappler. Looks super clean in person but was a huge hassle to get them to fit. The lift also squeaks a good amount when I stop and go. Not noticeable to average person but if you are OCD like me it will drive you insane. Took it back to the local shop and they couldn’t find the problem. Overall it’s a good look but some things could defiantly be improved. ... show more
